A week later…
It's been a week since Mr. Silvestri's party, a week since he'd announced his relationship to the public, a week since Carlo had tried to kill Celeste and a week since Dominic had beaten him up.
Thankfully, the video clip didn't circulate on the internet because Mr. Silvestri made sure it didn't.
It's also been a week since he'd seen Carlo around.
After what Dominic had done to him, he'd been hoping that they would talk things out.
Indeed. What Carlo had done wasn't right. Attempting to kill the woman he loved was punishable by death, and although he tried to understand where Carlo was coming from, he still didn't want him to go scotfree without apologizing at least.
However, for the past week, the latter hasn't made any appearance at the house, talk more at the headquarters.
The situation was getting more intense and he thought he should have a proper conversation with Carlo before it was too late.
