Back in the arena, Vorden continued to stare at Quinn. He was looking at Quinn as if he had lost his mind.
However, Tsukuru narrowed his eyes.
"I think that's a good idea, Quinn." Tsukuru replied.
His words caused both of the boys to snap their heads towards him.
"But…once his Ability Level increases…" Vorden started.
"Vorden, we don't even know if the wristwatches can detect the Mutant Cells of Vampires." Tsukuru replied. "One of the biggest flaws of the wristwatches is that there is no differentiation between someone with no Ability and a genuine Level 1 Ability User." Tsukuru's eyes narrowed. "It's always been one of my biggest gripes with the wristwatches. The fact that there is no 'Level 0'."
Vorden's eyes widened. He hadn't even considered that could be a possibility.
Vorden clenched his fist. This was just like before. He had thought that he was helping Quinn by getting revenge and attacking Mono's gang among the Second-Year students. However, all that had accomplished was putting a bigger target on Quinn's and Peter's backs. And in the end, this was the result. The three of them being stranded on a Red Portal Planet.
'I'm so selfish.' Vorden thought.
"What…What about that brother of yours?" Vorden replied, trying to think of something. "Couldn't he modify Quinn's wristwatch? Make it display a false number?"
Tsukuru looked at Vorden.
It wasn't a bad idea. Logan could easily do that. After all, he had added voice controls to Tsukuru's wristwatch.
"...Maybe." Tsukuru agreed.
Hearing this, Vorden smiled.
"Plus, the military's 'All-Military Bases Tournament' is coming up." Vorden replied. "It'd be the perfect place to show off his Ability on the big stage!"

Back outside the building, Faye went up to the passcode machine at the side of the door. Using her Super Speed, she imputed the code. Her hand looked like a blur of motion. The machine's screen flashed green, and a beep was heard. However, the door wouldn't budge.
"Looks like the doors are too damaged." Hayley replied. "You think the three kids did this?"
Del let out a snort, causing the others to turn to him.
"Your count's off by one." He replied. "Remember, only Hikiko and the Blade boy have Abilities."
Faye narrowed her eyes.
"Original Abilities, at that." She replied. "And seeing as how Vorden can copy Abilities, he might be using Hikiko's strange Ability. That would definitely allow him to deal with these Rattaclaws."
Del let out a sigh.
"Once we find the two boys, we can go HOME, right?" He asked.
Shizuka narrowed her eyes.
"There are three signals on the tracker, Rowan." She replied in a harsh tone.
Del turned to her.
"All that means is that that wristwatch is in there!" He shot back. "For all we know, they could have taken it off his corpse! Besides, our mission was to bring back the two Originals! Anything else is a bonus!"
Leo's hand tightened around the grip of his sword.
"Do you have any idea why I joined the war?" He asked Del in a sharp tone. "It was to help others. I risked my life for the sake of others! For the sake of the future of the Human race! And that is these children!"
Del clicked his tongue.
"Do you want a medal, or a chest to pin it on?" He muttered under his breath.
Instantly, both Leo and Shizuka snappedtheir heads towards him. While Leo's face showed intense disappointment, Shizuka's face looked like she wanted to murder him.
"Enough!" Faye yelled. "Let's just get this over with, shall we?"
Shizuka walked up to the far left side of the door, standing on the left side of Leo.
"I'll go scout up ahead." She replied. "See what I can find."
Leo's clouded eyes narrowed.
"That'd take too much time." He replied, his hand still on the handle of his Beast Sword, and drew it. "I'll just make an opening for those of us who can't move through doors."
Behind them, Del looked at Leo's stance. To Del, Leo looked like an idiot.
"Isn't that door made out of Glathrium?" He asked. "It's the hardest metal we know of. It's the whole reason why this building is still standing in the first place!"
Completely ignoring Del's words, Leo slashed the door with one swing. Not a sound was heard, and it seemed like the door hadn't even been touched.
Behind them, Del let out a chuckle.
However, a few seconds later, a diagonal slash was seen on the door. The top half fell backwards, falling inside the building. It hit the floor hard, creating a loud "crash".
Del's jaw dropped.
Faye looked back at the dumbstruck Del.
"And that's why he's strongerthan me." She replied.
Back with Shizuka, she had an amused look on her face.
"Aw man, little Tsu-Tsu would have loved to see THAT!" She laughed.
Her outburst caused both Leo and Faye to turn to her.
"Maybe instead of calling you the 'Blind Swordsman', they should call you the 'Blind Samurai'!"

Back in the arena, all three of the boys snapped their heads towards the sound. Despite the training room being quite a distance inside the building, the noise was still heard.
"What the hell was that?!" Vorden yelled, his eyes wide and his heart racing.
Instantly, Quinn turned towards Tsukuru.
When he turned to him, he saw that his eyes were narrowed. Then, a second later, a smirk crept across his face. A fair distance away in his System's Minimap, he saw five dots clustered together. Five green dots.
"What do you see?" Quinn asked. "Did a Beast somehow get through the door?"
Vorden's fists clenched at that possibility.
Tsukuru looked up at Quinn and Vorden.
"Relax." He replied. "It's nothing like that."
The two looked at him, waiting for him to explain further.
"In fact, now we don't need to even decide if we want to stay here or go out exploring." He replied. "Our rescue team is here."

Outside, Del was frozen in place, stunned.
However, once he had gotten out of his stupor, he saw the others walking over the bottom half of the door. Which was stillstanding. Walking through the hole that Leo had made like a walk-in bathtub. Del clicked his tongue in annoyance and headed through, as well.
After all five of them had entered through the Glathrium door, they then proceeded to lift the fallen piece back in place. It was heavy, but due to Hayley's strength boost from her Beast Gear, the others found it surprisingly light. They managed to fit the top piece of the door back in place like a jigsaw puzzle. While the now broken door wouldn't be able to keep out a Beast, it woulddeter them from entering.
Watching the whole thing, Del felt envious, thinking of how high a Tier that Beast Gear of Hayley's was to allow her to lift that heavy piece of Glathrium so easily.
The group proceeded to walk into the interior of the building.
"Aren't these things supposed to have lights?" Del muttered.
Shizuka reached her arm up towards the ceiling and tapped the screen of her wristwatch. Even in stand-by mode, the screen produced artificial light. The light illuminated the top of the wall, allowing the shattered lights to be seen.
"Huh." Hayley replied, seeing the broken lights. "That's…weird."
The group carried on further into the building, being led by Leo. It seemed that this was one of the many situations where his wireframe vision was superior to normal vision. As it didn't care about light, or the lack thereof.
As they walked, Del couldn't stop thinking about how easily Leo had been able to break that door. It wasn't like Del was a weak student. He was a professor. And just like Leo, he too had participated in the war. But he never saw anything like that.
'Could that sword…be a Demon-Tier weapon?' Del thought. However, Del then shook his head. 'No, that's impossible. There are only two Demon-Tier weapons in existence. One of them possessed by the Supreme Commander…and the other, by Pure.'
However, it was clear to Del that Leo's katana had to be a High-Tier Beast Weapon. King-Tier at the absolute lowest.
Just like with all four of the inhabitants before them, Quinn, Vorden, Ian, and Tsukuru, the Retrieval Team found their way to the Reception Area. As they did, they saw the several doorways leading into the different sections of the training area. There was two hallways that each led to either side of the arena, as well as the actual reception room. Going through there would lead you to the canteen and living quarters.
Suddenly, Hayley's eyes widened.
"Wait, stop!" She called, causing the three Sergeants in front of her to come to a complete stop.
Two out of the three turned back to her, and gave her a confused look.
Meanwhile, Shizuka hadn't turned back. She sniffed the air a few times, causing the others to turn to her.
"I smell blood." She replied. "Fresh blood at that. Can't be more than a few hours old."
