Hello everyone, My name is ibry, and before you dive in, I wanted to take a moment to introduce both myself and the world of Black Sun.
This is a Fairy Tail story, but it is not a simple retelling of canon. While familiar elements remain—Magic, Ethernano, Dragon Slayers, and the Magic Council—this story follows an original main character named Albion and takes place primarily within Phantom Lord.
The story begins when many core characters are still children. This was a deliberate choice to explore their development organically rather than dropping them in as fully-realized mages right away.
You will see faces like Gajeel, Juvia, and José Porla. Some of their histories match canon, while others have been expanded or reimagined. Side characters who received little screen time in the original series will play much larger roles here.
The foundation remains true to Fairy Tail, but I have introduced new mechanics—including Ethernal Awakenings, Innate Magic, original spells, and entirely new magical classifications.
This story relies heavily on long-term mystery and subtle foreshadowing. Answers to certain questions may not arrive for dozens of chapters. If something seems strange or unexplained early on, trust that it's intentional.

I am seventeen years old and actively using this passion project as a training ground to refine my craft for future original novels.
Because of this, you will notice my writing style evolve as the chapters progress. Early chapters reflect where I started; later chapters reflect where I am going. Rather than getting stuck in an endless loop of rewriting past work, I prefer to keep pushing forward.
I can't promise a perfect story, nor can I promise every narrative choice will suit every reader. But I can promise that I will put my full effort into crafting an engaging, high-quality journey.
