When clueless cats gathered, the lack-of-common-sense aura multiplied exponentially.
Stelle Cat was energetic as ever, to the point Inori almost forgot that her staying here might spell disaster for another universe.
The Express crew really were the kind of people who'd stick together forever.
Why hadn't Stelle told them she'd turned into a cat?
Maybe she had.
But maybe no one believed her.
Inori massaged her temples.
This was a real mistake.
She glanced at the cats.
"March, I need to confirm something. How long has it been since the Stellaron Hunter warned the Express?"
"Less than 24 hours, meow."
Inori exhaled.
Maybe things weren't completely doomed yet.
She explained everything to the cats.
March froze.
"So the Stellaron Hunter wasn't lying? Then we messed up big time!"
Stelle's eyes sparkled.
"Another world in trouble? Is it time for the Trash Can Legion to save the day again?"
March's smile twitched.
An entire Xianzhou falling because Stelle went dumpster diving in another universe felt… surreal.
Elysia, however, was intrigued.
"Another world sounds fun. Inori, can you take me along, meow?"
Inori shook her head gently.
"Not this time."
She pulled out a strange camera instead.
"Don't be sad. I've got a perfect substitute."
Infinite storage. Memory bubbles. Mysterious effects.
Elysia perked up instantly when cake delivery was mentioned.
Balance restored.
Soon, Inori curled into bed and activated the magic wand.
Only the cats remained.
"So… we sleep now, meow?" March asked.
Elysia nodded.
Stelle was already out cold.
March panicked.
If she couldn't sleep, she'd miss everything!
She counted trash cans.
Hundreds of them.
Still wide awake.
Then Elysia hummed softly.
A lullaby.
March finally drifted off.
Far away, on Blue Planet, calamity approached.
And on Herta Space Station, Lady Herta smiled grimly as explosions rocked the station.
"Of course this happened," she muttered.
She was already planning her revenge.
