Chapter 441 - Chapter 441: Damian Really Does Care About Ho-Oh

Damian really did care about Ho-Oh.

Even though that rainbow bird did not seem to have a good opinion of him, Damian knew himself well. It made sense that Ho-Oh did not like his personality or the way he did things.

But didn't that just show how honest Ho-Oh was? Even in this situation, Ho-Oh had still helped him three times!

Damian believed that Ho-Oh had played a very important role in his growth. So, Damian really wanted to give Ho-Oh more stories to be proud of. He wanted to leave behind legends that would be remembered for generations.

The strongest Legendary battles had been caused by Shiny Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Hoopa Unbound. Ho-Oh had participated in all three battles and won in the end!

Wasn't that amazing? Ho-Oh only joined major battles and still kept winning!

But sadly, the three chances were finally used up. Otherwise, Damian really wanted to call Ho-Oh over to fight Ultra Necrozma.

Well, did someone say a 7-vs-1 fight wasn't actually that hard? It was actually very simple. To make Ho-Oh feel more involved, Damian could take back a few Legendary Pokémon. This would make the battle a little harder.

If they won in the end, it would mean Ho-Oh was awesome and tough enough to take a hit!

"Next time when I fight Arceus, I should definitely bring Ho-Oh over," Damian thought. After all, he had already promised Giratina that he would help it challenge Arceus together.

But this battle definitely had to be prepared carefully. Damian felt that such a challenge would surely be remembered for a thousand years.

In ancient Hisui, the story of that hero who challenged Arceus with ten Pokémon to prove the strength and growth of humans was passed down, right? Since Damian was challenging Arceus with many Legendary Pokémon, why couldn't he be recorded in the history books?

Not only did it need to be recorded, but Damian also wanted his own people to write this biography! So, Damian felt that Ho-Oh definitely had to participate in such a historic moment.

As for whether Ho-Oh was willing to come, that was not up to it. Hoopa's rings could help Ho-Oh save a lot of travel time. It wouldn't even need to fly over by itself!

"Ho-Oh will definitely thank me. Maybe its attitude toward me will even change," Damian thought with a satisfied smile.

I didn't even forget you when fighting Arceus, Ho-Oh. Don't you have to thank me? Yes, that made sense.

While Damian was thinking about who else to call for the Arceus challenge, the battle in the sky was still very intense.

Ultra Necrozma's strength was truly amazing. Most importantly, its whole body was a weapon.

Since its body was made of light, it could fire powerful lasers from any part of its body. This made it hard for the opponents to find an opening.

So even though it was one against six, Ultra Necrozma was still holding on. If it were Kyurem and Shiny Rayquaza instead, they would definitely be losing badly right now.

But Ultra Necrozma could hold on for now. Although it was at a disadvantage, it had not fully fallen apart yet.

But this could not last much longer. The longer it went on, the worse Ultra Necrozma's situation would become.

Eternamax Eternatus hovered above, ready to attack at any time with multiple powerful Dynamax Cannons.

Meanwhile, Shadow Rider Calyrex, Shadow Lugia, and Primal Kyogre could strike from three different directions with long-range attacks.

Crowned Sword Zacian and Origin Forme Giratina kept the pressure on up close. They drew Ultra Necrozma's attention and kept it off balance.

Even as strong as Ultra Necrozma was, its disadvantage was gradually turning into a complete defeat. It had no clear way to win.

As time passed, the injuries on Ultra Necrozma's body grew worse. The golden light shining from its body was also slowly fading. It was about to reach its limit.

"So strong," Damian muttered as he looked at Ultra Necrozma, which was still resisting.

It was really strong. In a one-against-six situation, Ultra Necrozma could actually last this long. Even Zacian and the others were basically all injured.

The only one that had not been hit by Ultra Necrozma was Giratina. Thanks to Shadow Force and its skill in opening space-time portals, Giratina was still unhurt.

Bang!

Finally, catching another chance, Giratina's Shadow Force hit Ultra Necrozma hard again. Ultra Necrozma let out a cry of pain. Its huge body finally could not hold itself up and fell.

At the same time, a huge dark red beam fell from the sky and struck Ultra Necrozma.

Boom!

Dynamax Cannon exploded on Ultra Necrozma's body. Ultra Necrozma fell heavily and crashed into the ruined deserted island below.

"Damian! You won!" Seeing this, Lillie was surprised and jumped with joy.

"Damian really is amazing. As expected of the human I chose!" Lunala's telepathy was also full of excitement. Damian was too strong. He had actually defeated Ultra Necrozma.

To be honest, Lunala had always been afraid of Necrozma. After all, Necrozma not only countered it and Solgaleo, but also saw them as perfect sources of light.

That really made Lunala feel stressed!

But now, Necrozma had been defeated by Damian. From now on, it no longer had to worry about Necrozma. Because it was protected by Damian!

Next time, if Necrozma dared to cause trouble, Lunala could hide behind Damian with confidence and dare it to try.

"Keep it down, keep it down. Reshiram, let's go down and look." Damian pinched Lillie's soft waist and spoke with a smile.

Reshiram lowered its height a bit.

"Ugh~"

Lillie noticed Damian's action. Her face turned red. She pressed down on Damian's restless hand.

"Damian~ don't pinch me there."

She didn't hate Damian's close actions, but that spot... was it because she had eaten too much recently?

"It feels very good. If you don't give me a reason that satisfies me, I refuse." Damian smiled and pinched it again.

"Damian is so mean. Am I a bit fat?" Lillie pouted. Then she became a little worried.

Actually, Lillie was not fat at all. Her figure was definitely on the slim side. But Lillie still worried about it. She was already wondering if she should make a wish to Jirachi to get rid of the little extra softness.

"Not at all. I like the current Lillie the most. If you were too thin, I wouldn't like it as much."

Damian held Lillie a bit tighter. He pulled her whole body into his arms. He leaned close to her ear and laughed.

"Ugh... if Damian likes it, then I like it too."

Lillie spoke shyly in a very soft voice. But her tone was light and happy. Knowing that her boyfriend liked her body made her feel happy.

Damian's hearing was very sharp, so he heard it clearly. Damian turned his head and gave Lillie's face a firm kiss. His girlfriend was really too cute. Damian couldn't help himself.

Lillie felt the touch on her face. She shrank back a little. She was both shy and happy.

"It looks like it's almost over."

Damian really wanted to keep playing with Lillie, but there was still something important to handle.

He looked down. Reshiram waved its wings. A strong wind blew. The dust was immediately blown away.

Inside a large crater, the fallen Ultra Necrozma lay there with a weak presence. It was really weak now. The golden light on its body was very faint. It looked like it would go out at any time.

Ultra Necrozma lay on its back on the ground. Its dragon eyes looked at the human boy on Reshiram's back in the air. Its eyes were full of unwillingness. But it had really reached its limit now. Even...

Clang...

Suddenly, Ultra Necrozma let out a low cry of pain. Light glowed on its body. After a while, the light faded. Ultra Necrozma had disappeared from the spot.

The weakened Necrozma and Solgaleo lay there. Both Pokémon looked completely drained. They were even breathing heavily.

Seeing Solgaleo appear again, Lunala quickly flew down. It looked at Solgaleo with concern.

"It's fine. Its internal energy is basically gone. It just needs to rest more."

Reshiram also landed. Damian came to Solgaleo's side. After observing for a bit, he spoke to Lunala.

Then Damian reached out his hand. Warm golden light kept spreading into Solgaleo's body. It was healing Solgaleo's injuries.

Although the healing effect of Arceus's power was not as good as Sacred Ash, it was not weaker than items like Hyper Potions.

Most importantly, the cost to Damian's mental energy was very small. Otherwise, if he used Viridian Power, Damian would rather use Hyper Potions. Anyway, he was not short on money.

If you use Viridian Power too much, you really get very dizzy. In the manga, Yellow had once almost fainted from using Viridian Power too much.

After giving Solgaleo a simple treatment to make sure it wouldn't faint, Damian looked at Necrozma.

"It looks like you are not my match, Necrozma."

Damian smiled at Necrozma. Actually, when the battle was going badly, Ultra Necrozma did think about running away.

For Ultra Necrozma, if it couldn't win, it couldn't win. Running away was not embarrassing. Especially since the opponent was using such an unfair group attack.

But it couldn't get away! Eternatus and the others surrounded it from all sides. The attacks came one wave after another without stopping. How could it run?

"..."

Necrozma did not respond. It just lay on its back, looking at the dark sky. Its mind felt blank.

It did not lack light in its body right now. After all, it had already absorbed enough light from Solgaleo and the whole Alola region.

It was now simply badly injured and weak. Its whole body hurt. But it was different from the pain of lacking light.

So Necrozma was clear-headed enough to talk. That was a good thing for Damian.

"I wonder what you are thinking?" Damian asked again.

However, Necrozma still had no intention of responding.

"Okay, it seems you don't want to talk to me. But I can understand. You don't like humans, right?"

Damian was not surprised. Necrozma glanced at Damian. Wasn't that obvious? It hated humans!

Back then, it had given the people of Ultra Megalopolis the light they needed to survive. But how did they repay it? They took away the light it relied on to live and even sealed it away.

"I have learned about your past. I also know how much you suffered back then. Do you want revenge?" Damian spoke to Necrozma.

"?"

Necrozma was stunned. What did this human say?

"I can help you get revenge. The people who harmed you back then are already dead. But their descendants are still there. Though there aren't many left."

"How ironic, isn't it?" Damian's smile was mocking.

"They hurt you and sealed you away for your light. But without you, that world began to die slowly. It kept declining, step by step."

"Up until now, that world is basically dead. A world without light cannot live long after all."

"So, do you want to go and destroy the last survivors? I can go with you."

Damian looked at Necrozma. His voice was calm, but his words were very clear. The colored parts of Necrozma's head kept flashing. It stared at this human who claimed he wanted to help it.

Human, what do you want? Why do you want to help me?

A low, raspy voice echoed through telepathy. This was Necrozma's telepathy.

"It's very simple." Damian laughed. "Because I want you on my side. I like you, Necrozma."

Damian's blunt and direct words actually made Necrozma fall silent.
