Chapter 302 - Chapter 301: Silver: I Must Find Damian!

"Are there actually security guards in this place? Isn't this a wilderness area?"

Misty was very shocked to hear this. If there were security guards, it meant that the area was private property. Naturally, they could not enter it whenever they wanted.

"Mmm-hmm~ It looks like you were very lucky and just didn't run into them," Green said with a giggle.

"This entire area actually belongs to a corporation's private land. Strictly speaking, this is actually a farming and ranching zone," Green thought for a moment and explained it this way.

"Since you came all this way, you must have seen it, right? The Pokémon ecosystem here is very complete, and the environment is excellent."

"Then didn't we just break into someone's private property?" Misty felt a bit worried. This was a very rude thing to do. If the owner held them responsible, they would be in trouble.

But they were already inside, so there was nothing they could do about it now.

"But such a huge area belongs to just one person? How much money would that even cost?"

"Also, that World Tree is just way too big, isn't it?" Ash looked at the World Tree in the distance and clicked his tongue in surprise.

"Right? We actually really want to go in and take a look. However, there are signs outside that tree saying the inside is an extremely dangerous area and we can't go near it."

"Also, as soon as you get close to that tree, many Pokémon will come over to stop you."

The World Tree? Was that the name of that tree?

Green said while blinking her large eyes. She and Silver had actually only entered this area yesterday, so she wasn't actually very familiar with it herself.

"Miss Green, why did you two come here? And... that is the Legendary Pokémon Regirock, isn't it?" Brock frowned and narrowed his eyes while watching Green, pointing out this key detail.

This place was someone's private territory, and Green clearly knew that. That Regirock was obviously being kept in this area by the owner, yet that red-haired boy was having a capture battle with it. This was clearly not right. All the signs showed that these two people were acting suspicious.

"You have a good eye. But let me tell you a secret: the actual owner of this place is Team Rocket," Green curled her lips and spoke to the three of them with a smile.

"What?"

"Is that true?"

"..."

Ash and the other two were shocked. This place was Team Rocket's private property?

"There's no mistake. This is information that I worked very hard to find out. This place is Team Rocket's private property in Kanto," Green said very certainly. This was news she had struggled to discover.

"But even if that's the case... it's still not right, is it?" Ash said hesitantly. Even if it was Team Rocket's place... still...

While the group was chatting, Silver's Ursaring used Hammer Arm once more and defeated Regirock. Regirock fell heavily to the ground and lost its ability to battle, catching the attention of Ash and the others.

"This boy's strength is so great."

Both Brock and Misty noticed this. That was a Legendary Pokémon, yet this Ursaring defeated Regirock without taking very serious injuries. That said a lot about its power.

"Go, Poké Ball."

Silver did not hesitate much. He decisively threw a Poké Ball at Regirock. Seeing this, Ash reached out his hand and opened his mouth, seeming to want to say something.

If this Regirock were wild, he naturally wouldn't care. However, it was very clear that this Regirock belonged to Team Rocket's private property. Although Team Rocket was a criminal organization, it still belonged to them. Ash felt that doing this really wasn't very good.

The moment the Poké Ball touched Regirock, it opened, and a white light covered the Pokémon. However, in the next second, the white light was bounced away. The capture failed.

"This Regirock has already been caught," Brock realized immediately.

A Pokémon that has already been caught cannot be caught a second time unless it is released; the attempt will simply fail. Clearly, this was the case with Regirock.

"Just as I thought."

Silver was not very surprised by this. He called back Ursaring, his cold face remaining expressionless.

"Looks like we have to find another way."

"Yeah."

Green walked to Silver's side and spoke, and Silver nodded.

"Doing this isn't right, is it?" After struggling for a short while, Ash couldn't help but speak to Silver and Green.

Granted, in Ash's eyes, Team Rocket was a criminal organization. But no matter what, that didn't mean they could just take things from Team Rocket's private property as they pleased, right? One thing had nothing to do with the other.

Silver glanced at Ash's group of three, his expression still cold. That was just his personality.

"You really are just like Red; you're full of a sense of justice," Green covered her mouth and giggled, teasing Ash.

"But you can relax. Actually, Silver isn't trying to catch Regirock because he wants it. There is another reason," Green explained Silver's motive.

"?" Ash scratched his head in confusion.

"I can't tell you the details, but Silver just wants to see his brother. So, he can only use this method," Green said after thinking for a bit.

If he caught Team Rocket's precious Legendary Pokémon, Damian would surely come to find Silver, right? Yes, that was what Silver and Green were thinking.

Brother...

Silver's eyes were gloomy. No matter what, he really could not accept that his brother was part of Team Rocket. And he had even become the leader of Team Rocket.

This kind of thing hit Silver hard. That was his own brother.

Silver had also called and messaged Damian, but Damian had never responded. Obviously, Damian was intentionally avoiding him.

"Is that so..." Ash looked at Silver. So there was a reason.

"Let's go, Green. We're going further inside."

Silver didn't really want to have too much contact with these three people he had met by chance. This World Tree area was a very important place for Team Rocket. Especially that giant tree; there might be secrets inside.

Green shrugged, but she still prepared to go with Silver. She couldn't help it; Silver was like a younger brother to her.

When she learned that Silver had found his family, Green was very happy for him. But when she found out that Silver's father was Giovanni, Green was stunned. And as expected, that Damian from Team Rocket was Silver's brother. When she learned this, Green's expression was like this: (○—○).

"Are you going into the tree? Let's go together." Ash's group of three hesitated for a moment and then caught up with Green and Silver.

"It might be very dangerous inside. It would be better if you left," Green advised upon seeing this.

"We're only here because we have things to do, too," Misty said helplessly.

If it weren't necessary, she really didn't want to get involved with Team Rocket. The psychological shadow Damian left on her was very strong.

"We passed by Rota Street before, and then..." Misty briefly introduced the reason the three of them came here. It was because Ash won a tournament in Rota Street. Then, he accidentally woke up a Lucario that was sealed in a staff. After that, they learned about the story of the Aura Guardian from the Queen of Rota Street.

It was said that the Aura Guardian, who was Lucario's former partner, eventually came to this World Tree.

"I see. Okay, but you have to be careful," Green thought about it and didn't refuse. Ash was Red's younger brother. Red had also mentioned to Green that Ash was one of his most important rivals. This also showed that Ash's strength should be quite high. There was no harm in traveling together.

The group of five rushed toward the World Tree's location. Along the way, they encountered many Pokémon trying to stop them. Furthermore, the strength of the Pokémon kept getting higher.

"It's really strange. Why are they blocking us like this?" Misty was very confused while looking at the Regice and Registeel that had lost their ability to fight.

These two, Regice and Registeel, were also Legendary Pokémon. Fortunately, their strength wasn't too ridiculous, and they were defeated by Silver's Ursaring and Ash's Pikachu.

"I don't know. Maybe we'll understand after we go inside," Brock's brow was locked tight. He had a bad feeling in his heart.

"Tu~!"

Right then, a low cry came from not far away. A strong, orange, tiger-like Pokémon slowly flew over while stepping on clouds. Its eyes looked down at Ash and the others. It was Landorus in its Therian Forme!

"Tu!!" An unfriendly roar came from Landorus's mouth.

"What is this Pokémon?" Misty looked at Landorus in surprise. That presence was intense. Without a doubt, this Pokémon was much stronger than Regirock and the others.

"It seems to be telling us not to go any further. Otherwise, it will attack us," Ash roughly understood what Landorus meant. He took out his Pokédex, but the Pokédex showed no data.

"Silver?" Green also felt the pressure from Landorus. This Pokémon was definitely not simple. Also, it simply wasn't on the same level as Regirock and the others.

Silver's brow was furrowed tight.

"We just want to go inside to take care of some business. It won't take long. Could you please let us through?" Ash said to Landorus.

"Tu!!"

However, Landorus refused immediately. The World Tree was their home now, and the World Tree would not let humans in. As the current guard of the World Tree, appointed by Mew, Landorus would not allow any human to enter for any reason.

"It won't even give us a chance to negotiate. Should we go back? Or force our way in?" Misty couldn't help but speak.

"No!" Silver rejected the idea immediately. "I must go in. There might be some information about my brother inside," Silver said in a low voice. Such an important World Tree might have some critical information about Damian.

"No matter who it is, no one can stop me from finding my brother!" Silver threw a Poké Ball, and a Honchkrow appeared in front of him.

"Then let's force our way in," seeing this, Green shrugged helplessly and also released a Blastoise.

"Let's take it down! Pikachu!" Ash slapped his cheeks. He had to finish what he promised Lucario, too.

Pikachu jumped to the ground full of fighting spirit, looking up at Landorus in the sky.

"Go for it! Good luck!" Misty and Brock took two steps back and took the initiative to be the cheerleaders.

Although this orange, tiger-like Pokémon looked very strong, Misty and Brock still had a lot of confidence in the three of them. Regirock had already been defeated, so what about this one? They would win.

Seeing that these humans who had broken in recklessly were not only ignoring its warning but even wanted to fight it, a dangerous light flashed in Landorus's eyes.

And then...

"Pikachu!!!"

"It's no use! We can't win. This Pokémon is way too strong. We have to get out of here!"

"..."

Ash wailed as he looked at Pikachu, which was buried by Rock Slide with only its tail sticking out. Green was also stunned. Landorus was simply too much.

A single Stone Edge sent Silver's Honchkrow crashing down. Then, it dodged Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt, and a massive Rock Slide buried Ash's Pikachu. Finally, another Extrasensory blasted her Blastoise until it could no longer fight.

It was too extreme. It was a complete crushing defeat.

"Tu~!" Landorus let out another cry. The ground trembled, and yellowish-brown energy flickered across the earth. Landorus used Earth Power!

Seeing Landorus launch another attack, the expressions of Green and the others changed.

"Oh no!"

A crisp female voice suddenly rang out. "Please stop, Landorus."

Hearing this voice, Landorus's movements paused. It looked down behind Ash and the others. The Earth Power gradually subsided and was not released.

Ash and the others turned around to look. When they saw the person who had spoken, they were all stunned.

What is she doing here?!
