"That's good." Howl nodded, coming to the spotless fireplace: "There might be a friend coming here too."
"Who is it?" Sindel was very surprised.
Howl moved the firewood rack, revealing the ash trough under the fireplace, and took out a silver chalk.
"Hmm, hard to describe, but I can tell you, he's not human." Howl said.
He hadn't gained nothing from entering the deep magical logic loop of Hogwarts through the Book of Admittance. At least, he had gained a better understanding of some of Hogwarts' magical circuits.
Then he connected the Floo Network's magical logic, intending to draw Lucifer here.
Just as Lucifer had said before, Howl also felt it was true; leaving him alone in the Castle was indeed a bit boring.
If he were also in the Castle, perhaps Fawkes could visit often, couldn't he?
Thinking this, he began to engrave the magical circuit below. Soon, a strange star rune, similar to the previous one, appeared, then a circle was drawn around it, completing the rune circuit.
About ten minutes later, Howl put down the silver chalk and clapped his hands. Then he pressed his palm onto the rune.
Soon, distorted starlight bloomed from within the rune, and the entire ground appeared to flow due to the distortion of the air.
Then—poof.
A small flame appeared from the very center of the star rune.
"It worked!!" Lucifer looked happy, then quickly became flustered: "Firewood, where's the firewood!!"
Howl waved his hand: "You go back first. Once I've engraved the rune, you can come over again."
Lucifer then reacted, looked down, and clicked his tongue in disdain.
"I'll do it myself!"
Saying that, he suddenly disappeared, retreating. However, a moment later, he reappeared, a long, fiery red feather enveloped within his flaming body.
??
The next moment, he fiercely unleashed his power, flames rapidly flowing along the rune, and strands of golden ectoplasm were quickly extracted from the feather.
Crackling—
Low explosions continued, and looking at the star rune on the ground again, it was already scorched with cracked marks.
A moment later, Lucifer finished intensifying the flames and looked at Howl triumphantly.
"How was it?"
...
Howl was silent. He could tell that the feather enveloped in Lucifer's body was not an ordinary feather, but a very precious plume, from a Phoenix.
"You... you're amazing." Howl praised.
"Good to know." Lucifer smiled, then quickly urged: "Firewood! Firewood! Don't waste the energy in my feather!"
Howl nodded, then quickly apparated back to Moonlight Fortress.
Sindel looked at Lucifer with a somewhat blank expression, then smiled: "The fire spoke?"
"The painting spoke?" Lucifer looked as if he had seen a ghost. He had never left Moonlight Fortress and had no idea that paintings could talk.
"May I ask what I should call you? Mr. Fire? Or Mr. Red?" Sindel asked with a curious smile.
Lucifer looked at her and shook his head: "No, just call me Lucifer. This is Howl's office, right?"
Sindel nodded: "That's right, this is Mr. Cat's office."
Mr. Cat...
Lucifer pursed his lips, looking as if he had eaten a large piece of bitter gourd, his face speechless.
What strange titles...
A moment later, Howl returned to the Castle, with many pine logs floating behind him.
After placing the firewood and setting up the firewood rack for Lucifer, he began to tidy up the office.
It was hard to say whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, but because of Nagini's situation, Dumbledore had instructed Professor McGonagall not to assign him the task of guiding the Little Wizards.
Time flew by, and everything proceeded in an orderly fashion.
Soon, it was time for school to start.
Harry still didn't choose to go directly to Hogwarts through Moonlight Fortress; that was too strange.
Chris's car stopped on Privet Drive, and Hermione jumped out, helping Harry with Hedwig's cage.
Across from them, Dudley stood outside the house, waving at Harry. He couldn't shout loudly, as that would let his mother inside hear, and then there would be trouble.
Dudley wasn't worried about his mother getting angry at him; she wouldn't.
But Dudley knew that if he acted too close to Harry, his mother would go crazy, wondering if Harry had used a Curse on him.
Then she might make an extreme move, breaking the hard-won delicate balance.
Oh, Dudley certainly wouldn't have thought of these things.
Harry told him.
Howl, holding a half-sugar Energy Potion, raised it slightly towards Chris as a greeting.
Then he turned around and suddenly saw...
Harry had just gotten into the car when Howl's voice suddenly rang out.
"Brat, you left something behind." Howl said, looking over. The distance was a bit far, but his voice clearly reached Harry's ears.
"What?" He quickly checked himself, got out of the car again, and walked towards Number Thirteen, Privet Drive.
"Uncle Howl, what did I leave?" Harry asked, puzzled.
"Your colleague." Howl said, leaning against the door frame.
Meteor hung its head, walking out with very small steps, seemingly very disappointed.
"No... but this..." Harry stammered, too happy to speak.
"Really?" He looked at Howl with surprise.
"Now that Lucifer isn't staying here either, do you want him alone... no, one broomstick to be lonely in the Castle?"
