He had to make things clear first, even if it would drive some people away.
It's a good thing, isn't it? After all, if the club really attracted almost all the students in the school like today, it would be a demanding and exhausting task to manage well.
The number of people who came today exceeded not only Professor Flitwick's imagination but also his own.
He had just realized that he had made an empirical error.
Although most Wizards focused on academics, he underestimated the restlessness of these youngsters. It made sense, after all, while there was no shortage of food and drink in this Castle, it was… quite stifling.
"Now, does anyone want to step onto this stage for a performance?" Howl stepped aside, revealing the arena behind him.
Harry immediately raised his hand, eager to test some of the ideas he had gained from reviewing the previous confrontation.
"No surprise…" Snape's voice sounded from behind and to the side of Howl.
Howl was a bit troubled. He nodded, letting Harry come up first, then looked down: "Is there anyone who would like to practice with Potter?"
Below the stage, no one raised a hand.
No one in the same year wanted to duel with Potter, as his performance in class was clear for all to see.
"Malfoy?!" Snape's gaze slowly shifted to Draco.
Draco shook his head repeatedly, his head spinning like a rattle drum.
Snape's eyes showed displeasure, but this did not change Draco's mind.
"Then let a senior student guide Potter," Snape slowly said.
Harry stood on the stage. He didn't really care who he fought; as long as he could have a match, it was fine.
"I'll do it." Marcus Flint stepped forward with a gloomy expression.
Howl cast a questioning look at Snape.
What's wrong with you Slytherins?!
Snape glanced at him but did not reply. Harry, meanwhile, looked at Marcus's expression and vaguely guessed.
Was it because he saw the professors' crisscrossing spells and thought he could do it too?
However, he wasn't sure if Marcus's move was also related to their previous conflict.
Soon, the two stood in the arena.
Howl patted Harry's shoulder and instructed, "Just spells, there are many children watching here."
Harry nodded. Drawing a long sword and slashing would indeed not be suitable for this environment.
It wouldn't be good if blood splattered on the front-row spectators.
The two approached, mimicking the professors' earlier actions, first bowing, then standing back-to-back and slowly separating.
Below the stage, Draco shook his head, idly rubbing his face.
"Flint is called a Troll. It seems that besides his appearance and physique, intelligence is also a major factor."
He had no faith in this guy's duel with Harry.
"Don't worry too much." Draco looked at Hermione, who was a little further away from him, looking nervous.
"What if he gets hurt?!" Hermione asked with a serious expression.
