A gasp slipped past my lips at the weight of Kael's words, the promise in them settling deep in my chest, dangerous and intoxicating.
"You don't have to do anything you don't want," Edris said quietly, but the tightness in his voice betrayed him. Control, barely held.
"I want to," I answered, steadier than I felt.
His throat moved as he swallowed, his gaze darkening in a way that made my pulse stutter.
I wasn't entirely sure how much I could take, how far this would go, but being wanted like this, claimed by all three of them, burned through every doubt. It wasn't fear sitting in my chest.
It was hunger.
"You set the pace," Kael said, his voice low and deliberate. "Slow or not."
"I don't want slow," I said quickly, too quickly, but I didn't take it back.
A flicker of something sharp crossed his expression.
Ronan let out a quiet, knowing breath, the corner of his mouth lifting. "Careful what you ask for, Selena."
