Rin looked around in confusion.
When Yian had gone to find him, he had only mentioned that Setan was in danger and needed rescuing. He had conveniently left out everything involving the sacred relic.
To be fair, Yian had been too afraid to explain the whole story. There was a very real chance Rin would have refused to come if he had known the details beforehand.
"Former City Lord, you didn't know?"
Tor hesitated before continuing.
"The Blazing Flame Stone was... given away by City Lord Setan."
His gaze shifted toward Nina.
"To this female."
Rin frowned.
"What exactly happened? Explain it properly."
Tor proceeded to recount the entire story from beginning to end.
As he listened, Rin's expression grew increasingly complicated.
When the explanation ended, he shot Setan a reproachful look.
This foolish grandson had actually handed the clan's sacred relic to an outsider.
