"Father, Uncle Riga." Greeted Kelsey once she entered the room where Deon and Riga were.
"Little niece, you're back! Come, come! Sit here with me!" Riga patted the empty spot next to him, inviting his beloved niece to sit with him.
Kelsey giggled, but chose to sit beside her father instead. Lord Deon gave a smug smile, while Lord Riga scoffed lightly.
"Well? Did your master give you the answer you wanted?"
"Before I answer that, there's something I'd like to ask. Is there any possibility that my mother possessed life force?"
"Of course, not." Instead of Lord Deon, it was Lord Riga who answered in a firm tone. "My sister's primary core was the power of destruction and the magic to control the dead. She did not possess the power of life or anything related to the God Clan."
"Controlling the dead? Was she a necromancer? Then… does the current Emperor possess its power as well?"
