"Hey, why are you laughing like that? You're scaring me."
Kelsey continued laughing for a few more moments before her knees suddenly buckled, as if she could no longer support her own weight. She let gravity pull her down and collapsed onto the floor, her head hanging low, strands of hair shielding her expression.
"Are you crying? There's no need to be upset." The fairy felt a flicker of guilt for not holding back when revealing everything so bluntly.
Just as she was about to comfort the girl, Kelsey abruptly lifted her head. Her sharp gaze was so fierce it could have sent weaker hearts fleeing in terror.
"What's wrong? Are you going to attack me?"
"Tell me how!" Kelsey demanded, her voice hoarse but burning with intensity. "I don't believe I would fail restore my core to its original state! And even if I do, I'll strip myself of all divine power and become a demon like my father!"
This girl is insane!! Screamed the fairy in her heart.
