The top layer of shields shattered immediately upon impact with the second bolt, followed by the second layer. The third layer held, but a large crack formed on its right side.
"This second lightning bolt is very strong."
Ian was about to order all the gods and demons maintaining the shield to reform it, but before he could act, Kelsey's second bolt of lightning struck. This time, the interval was only a few seconds, and the third, fourth, and fifth layers were instantly destroyed.
Without wasting any time, Ian and the others immediately reformed the barrier, creating five layers just as strong as before. Since they had all unleashed their power, the celestial gods could now clearly sense their strength.
