The next morning
Rosaline opens her eyes and sees that Louis was already up sitting down, his bare back facing her.
She sits up and drags the sheets up to her chest and leans on his bare back, kissing it.
"You're up early" she said sweetly as she kept kissing his back.
But the look on Louis' face didn't give her a good sign.
"What's wrong?"she asked him.
She had felt the cloud of darkness and depression over him.
He sighs and shakes his head.
"Rosaline"he said deeply.
His voice was serious and the place got suddenly quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
"We could leave tonight"she said.
The next words that came out of his mouth made her confused.
"I can't come with you"he said to her.
"What!"she said backing away from him as he stands up and puts on his black shirt the buttons were loose.
Rosaline put on a shirt and looked at him standing up too.
"Louis you know I love you right,and maybe because of our son we can work things out, let's leave this place , run away to somewhere far away, no more fighting and killing I just want a peaceful life with you by my side and we'll happily raise our son together"she confessed looking into his eyes.
She hugs him and kisses him,but he freed himself from her grip.
"Rose...I... can't do that for you"he said trying to speak in the best way possible to not upset her.
"I- can't leave"he said.
Rosaline gives him a confused look.
"But why? Why can't you leave?" She asked him.
"Don't you want to be with me"
"Didn't you say you love me?"she bombarded him with questions.
He looks into her eyes softly.
"I do, more than my life, Rosaline you deserve happiness, and I can't give you happiness, this is who I am Rose a monster" he said trying to hide his hurt.
"It's my destiny I can't run away, running away would only make things worse. I don't want to hurt you anymore" he added softly.
"I...th.. thought you believed in us, I thought this was what you wanted" Rosaline whispered.
"Rose I love you but I can't leave with you, if anything happens to you I'll never forgive myself"said Louis.
"Why?" She asked again.
"Why can't you leave?"
Louis sighs again.
"I can't tell you Rose, there's a war coming far bigger than running away, I shouldn't have gotten you into this mess; it's better if you leave Country Z than watching everything unfold, it will be safer for you and our child; it's a bloody war" Louis replied.
He places his hands on her shoulders and their eyes meet.
"If you get hurt, I'll go crazy Rose, even your brother won't escape my insanity"said Louis.
His she saw the meaning in his eyes.
"Louis, what tha fuck is all this"she asked him.
Her eyes turned bloodshot and she backs away.

"It's better if you don't "he quickly cut her off and she felt rage surging up inside her.
"Are you dumping me after all we've been through"said Rosaline.
"It's for the best, you think I want to"he said.
"I need you by my side more than everything but this isn't going to end well"he said.
"What isn't going to end well, how could I be so blind, you can't leave because of what! Well you don't want to tell me? Tell me Louis do you trust me?" She finally asked him.
"Rose"
"Answer me!!"she yelled out to him.
"Rose calm down you're pregnant"he said trying to coax her, but as he took a step forward, she took two steps back.
She shook her head like she just realized something.
"You still take me as an enemy"she whispered.
"Rose no"he said, also realizing his had misunderstood him.
"You just wanted to keep me by your side so, I wouldn't be a threat to you, you are indeed the devil"she said.
"Rose you're hurting me"he gritted.
"You can't feel pain Louis I'm not sure you have a heart" she said.
