Chapter 1 - Prologue : The Aura Era

THE BEGINNING

This is a story about the boy who lost it all…

The boy who is chosen…

Meant to bring Peace Harmony and Order with the world.

The star of hope

My name is Inochi Yaskue known as the last samurai and this is my story.

THE QUESTION OF SHINOBI?

What does it mean to be a Shinobi?

Will there be true peace in this vast, cruel Shinobi world?

Where light is present, shadows will also continue to be…

This story is based on the aspects of Illumination and Darkness.

THE ORIGIN OF AURA

Several centuries in the past in year 1000 in the A.E., the sun god Ra used his power that was given to him by the supreme deity, creating and bestowing upon humans on earth an ability known as aura within the shinobi world.

THE FALL OF THE SUN GOD

Due to the Sun God Ra's power, he didn't like how his power of fire was shared into humans he abused his authority over Earth, forcing humans to bow and obey him.

When humanity stole fire from him, he responded by contacting the moon god Khonsu by casting the world into water, drowning all life on Earth in rage except two survivors.

DIVINE JUDGEMENT

The repercussions for this were dire; the sun's supreme deity unleashed a curse on the world, bringing about death, diseases, and malevolence to humanity.

To punish the sun god Ra and the Moon God Khonsu for there actions against humans for drowning them because there power was meant to give life and not take, the supreme deity condemned them to be encased in stone, perpetually tormented by the legendary sun hawk due to its immortality for 1000 years Not as a god, but as a prisoner with his own power.

1,000 YEARS OF SUFFERING

Every ounce of heat he once cast upon others was reflected back onto them.

They felt every scream they had ignored, every life they had scorched, every god he had silenced.

Time did not pass for Ra—it dragged, each second a reminder of what he had become.

There was no sky.

No worship.

No light.

Only suffering.

THE CHANGE

And in that suffering… something changed.

The rage faded first.

Then the pride.

Then, finally, the belief that he was above consequence.

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT

When the thousandth year ended, the Supreme Deity returned.

"What is the purpose of the sun?" the voice asked.

Ra, no longer blazing, answered quietly:

"To give life… not take it."

Silence followed.

Then, judgment.

"Then you will learn life… as one who must live it."

THE REBIRTH OF RA

Ra's divine form shattered into fragments of fading light, scattering across the void.

His memories dimmed, his power sealed, his eternity reduced to something fragile.

A human heart.

A human life.

Now mortal, now vulnerable, he would face hunger, pain, loss… and choice.

THIRD GENERATION

Currently, in the third generation in year 4120 A.E. in the age of shinobi the first Dragon War has occurred in the territory of the Land of Light, characterized by its cherry blossom sakura trees and immense mountains.

This devastating conflict over power involved the Hinotori Clan and the Yaskue Clan.

HARU YASKUE GRANDMASTER OF LIGHT

Haru Yaskue, revered as the Grandmaster of Light and often seen as the heir apparent, is a man of brown complexion with a messy afro, a gold choker ring around his neck with eyes that blaze a fiery, adorned in a white kimono, black pants a stylish black and gold cloak, also stylish gold and black sandals and a yellow robe embellished with a sakura tree emblem.

He was warned by a shinobi from the Land of Shadows, a place known for its towering mountains, vast stretches of dark shadows, and lush green foliage.

A MESSAGE FROM THE SHADOWS

This Shinobi brought a message of caution to Haru, informing him that Daku Hinotori, the leader of his clan, recognizable by his white skin, long straight black hair tied in a ponytail, and his attire of black samurai armor decorated with oni motifs, also Haru's former ally, has incited a battle by seizing control of the Light Dragon.

THE CHILD OF LIGHT

He foresaw that his son Inochi was the subject of a prophecy and meant to usher in light to the shinobi world.

Prior to readying the Yaskue clan for combat, he embedded the essence of the Light Dragon into Inochi, while keeping its integrity intact.

WAR WITHOUT MERCY

Haru readies the Yaskue Clan for confrontation with the Hinotori, the conflict unfolding with severe and harrowing intensity, transforming the battlefield into a scene of utter ruin.

The violence was so extreme that the ground was soaked in a mix of blood, creating a traumatic scene, while the innumerable corpses littered across the land served merely as improvised pathways for those who managed to survive.

Many lives were lost amidst the harsh battle.

Adults consisting of loving mothers and fathers and tragically, the lives of innocent children were also taken.

The fierce, heartbreaking conflict spanned over three days, leaving only a pair of survivors.

For the sake of those who had fallen, Haru hoped for a settlement to bring the conflict to an end.

THE FINAL DECISION

Nonetheless, his desires would remain unfulfilled as he witnessed the emergence of a sinister force within both the gaze and the soul of Daku, compelling Haru to make a final, decisive choice.

To Seal Daku.

Committed to seeing the war through to its conclusion, Haru unleashed his most powerful technique.

THE SEAL OF DHARMA

He harnessed both his Nature and Spiritual energies to execute the "Nature Class Four Seals Of Dharma" - a sealing method aimed at entrapping Daku.

THE COST OF VICTORY

Daku was ultimately succumbed to Haru's decisive maneuver, being drawn into Haru's seal through a black hole, and consequently bound within the shadows.

Weary to the point of almost giving in, Haru was prevented from falling only by his faithful sword, a weapon that had repeatedly been his salvation and truly represented his determination as a samurai.

Regrettably, the conflict had exacted a heavy price on his physique, leading him to collapse onto his back, soaked in his own blood and covered in wounds.

UNDER THE SILENT SKY

He layed there, gazing silently into the glistening night sky, questioning his deeds under the light of the moon that bathed him.

This narrative revolves around the eternal struggle between Light and Darkness, with Darkness always lying in wait as long as the Light persists.
