Magearna was clearly dormant. Lusamine preferred letting it sleep over asking Wicke for help, showing a lack of trust.

Magearna was Steel/Fairy. Her core, the Soul-Heart, ran on life energy.
Li Yuan planned to use Steel energy, Fairy energy, and Heart power.
He summoned Gardevoir. As a Psychic/Fairy type with the Eternal Flower, she was perfect for injecting Fairy energy.
Gardevoir nodded and poured energy into the Soul-Heart.
Magearna glowed like a powered lamp.
But Li Yuan frowned. Magearna absorbed the energy but didn't wake up. I was freeloaded!

"Yes. She is the distant descendant of that princess. Her bloodline is thin, so she couldn't wake you," Li Yuan lied smoothly.

"Mag! (Princess, your friend Magearna requests to protect your safety!)"
Magearna analyzed the data. Lillie indeed resembled the Princess. She initiated the recognition program.
She didn't know how long she slept. She missed the Princess but knew she was gone. Her mission was over.
But seeing the descendant gave her purpose again. She yearned to be accepted.
Lillie looked at Li Yuan hesitantly. Hubby wanted to capture Magearna. If I take her, isn't that stealing?
