Chapter 51 - 051 Dino Surprise

Once the higher-ups grew weary of Loki's antics, their collective gaze shifted toward Dino. Michael's expression shifted drastically, as if he had just stumbled upon something completely out of the ordinary.

"An angel?" Michael murmured.

"No, I'd wager he's a fallen angel," Azazel interjected smoothly.

Michael turned to him. "Do you recognize him?"

"If I did, I wouldn't be looking this shocked," Azazel replied.

"..."

At that moment, Dino maintained a flat, stoic expression, but his skin was crawling with cold sweat.

'What is going on? Wasn't this supposed to be an easy job? Why are there so many monsters here?! A few of them might actually be on par with Guy!'

As expected of a Demon Lord from another world, despite the internal panic, Dino's "poker face" remained flawlessly intact.

"Loki, I am giving you one last chance to put a stop to this," Odin declared.

"Tch! You old fossil, stop barking orders at me!"

"...I see. So you refuse to surrender."

"Kukuku, of course! Besides, I'm not alone anymore." Loki flicked his gaze toward Dino.

Thanks to Loki's provocation, every eye in the room locked onto Dino. The cold sweat intensified, and Dino's body began to tremble ever so slightly. The leaders were sharp enough to notice his reaction; they wanted to laugh, but they knew the timing was far from appropriate.

"Loki-dono, have you truly crossed over to the other side?" Sirzechs Lucifer asked.

"Hah! What's it to you? All you need to know is that with their help, I can finally trigger Ragnarok!"

A magic circle erupted beneath Loki. Fenrir emerged, flanked by Skoll and Hati. Dino was shaken once again, especially by Fenrir. Even if it was faint, he could feel the chilling aura of death radiating from the wolf's fangs.

"What kind of creature is that?" Dino muttered.

"Hey! Why are you just standing there? I didn't bring you here to be a statue, you useless brat!" Loki barked.

"Eh? But what am I supposed to do against a crowd like this? Especially when I can feel some... suspiciously familiar power levels coming from them."

"Enough talk! Go!"

Clink!

A complex, emerald-green magic circle suddenly flared to life beneath Loki, Dino, Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati.

"Beelzebub!"

"Loki, I can't have you running amok here," Ajuka Beelzebub said calmly. "Go and wait over there for a while."

"Damn you!"

The circle flashed with blinding light, instantly teleporting Loki and his cohort to a distant location.

"That should buy us some time. They won't be able to do anything for a while," Ajuka noted.

"Kakaka! As expected of a Super Devil. You're just as terrifying as Sirzechs."

Rossweisse swallowed hard, shifting uncomfortably in the tense atmosphere.

"Now," Sirzechs said, his tone shifting. "Let us discuss how to handle them."

The leaders nodded solemnly, but before the discussion could start, Issei suddenly stepped forward. "Sirzechs-sama, please give me the chance to fight them."

"Issei..." Sirzechs paused, then nodded with a serious expression. "Very well. I give you my permission."

"Then let me go too! With my Peerage, of course!" Rias shouted, looking at her brother with pleading eyes.

Sirzechs let out a helpless sigh and nodded without further hesitation.

"Sirzechs, are you sure about sending them?" Ajuka asked.

"Mm. You can feel it too, can't you? The power coming from Issei and Rias."

"...True. Their power has increased to an almost nonsensical degree."

Serafall nodded in agreement, and even Falbium's expression shifted to one of awe as he observed Rias's Peerage. At that moment, Sona stepped forward.

"Onee-sama, allow me to assist Rias."

"Eh?! The opponents this time are foreign gods and angels! It's far too dangerous!" Serafall instantly pivoted into her overprotective big-sister mode.

Sona didn't budge. She stared straight at her sister with a firm, resolute gaze.

"Sona-chan, you—"

"Serafall-sama, I will protect Sona. You have nothing to worry about," Issei interrupted, his voice soft but firm.

"Issei!" Rias exclaimed.

Issei raised a hand, signaling her not to interfere. Rias fell silent, though she pouted with an annoyed expression. Sona, on the other hand, blushed deeply, looking at Issei with shy eyes.

"You're certain you can protect her?" Serafall asked.

Issei nodded with absolute confidence. "One hundred percent certain."

Serafall went quiet for a moment. She let out a soft sigh and gave a slight nod. "Fine. I'll hold you to that promise. But if anything happens to Sona, I won't let you off easily."

Her voice turned ice-cold, dripping with a sudden, sharp killing intent. Issei remained calm, seemingly unfazed by the pressure.

With the matter settled, Michael appointed Irina as the representative of Heaven, while Odin sent Rossweisse to represent Asgard.
