The sky remained the same—
heavy clouds pressing down, endless drizzle falling without pause.
Yu Ye walked across the muddy ground, yet not a single drop of mud splashed up beneath his feet. His clothes remained completely dry.
Every raindrop falling from the sky was diverted the moment it neared his body, pushed aside by an invisible force.
If one looked closely, they would notice that Yu Ye's body—no, his very clothing—was in a state of constant, subtle vibration.
His control over vibrational force had reached an astonishing level, bordering on true microscopic precision.
After walking some distance, Yu Ye suddenly came to a halt, a hint of surprise flashing through his eyes.
Behind him, a black figure was rapidly closing in.
At first glance, it looked like a single shadow—but as it drew closer, it became clear that it was one person carrying another on their back.
Both wore masks and cloaks.
"ANBU?" Yu Ye muttered, glancing curiously at their masks.
The next moment, Nara Luchi and Kurama Yaso arrived before him. Nara Luchi set Kurama Yaso down and looked directly at Yu Ye.
"Yu Ye," he said coldly, "Danzō-sama requests your presence."
Realization dawned on Yu Ye.
No wonder the masks felt slightly off—they weren't ANBU masks at all.
Root.
So these two had been sent by Danzō.
"I'm sorry," Yu Ye replied calmly, his expression indifferent.
"I have no intention of meeting Shimura Danzō."
Nara Luchi's voice carried no emotion.
"Then we'll have to take you by force."
At the same time, Kurama Yaso silently activated his genjutsu.
"Hm?"
Yu Ye sensed it instantly.
His body was already vibrating subtly at all times, his chakra circulating in the same manner—yet this illusion felt… different.
"Interesting…"
He murmured softly, remaining perfectly still.
The vibrational force within him surged, driving his chakra into a sudden pulse.
In the next instant, that vibration erupted outward from his body, transforming into strange rippling waves that blasted in all directions.
Nara Luchi, who had assumed the genjutsu had already succeeded, felt his heart sink.
"Bad—retreat!"
He immediately grabbed Kurama Yaso and leapt backward.
Buzz—
There was no sound.
But the ground beneath Yu Ye suddenly collapsed into a half-spherical crater, as if the soil itself had simply vanished.
The area of effect wasn't large—but it was terrifyingly precise.
"So combining presence, killing intent, and vibration creates a disruptive wave…"
Yu Ye murmured thoughtfully.
"Not much offensive power—but it's enough to break genjutsu."
He then turned his gaze back to the two Root operatives.
"This kind of illusion… not Uchiha. That means the Kurama clan."
He shook his head lightly.
"But you've only grasped the form. You haven't truly awakened that power capable of dominating all five senses."
With those words, Yu Ye suddenly vanished forward.
If he had truly been controlled earlier, the outcome would've been grim.
Since they had tried to control him—
Yu Ye had no intention of letting them walk away.
"So fast!"
Nara Luchi's pupils shrank. He instantly realized that neither he nor Kurama Yaso could evade Yu Ye's speed.
Without hesitation, he formed hand seals.
Whoosh!
A shadow flowed outward from beneath his feet, racing across the ground toward Yu Ye.
"The Nara clan…"
Yu Ye shook his head slightly.
Danzō really did collect shinobi with every sort of special ability.
But—
Did they really think shadows were immune to vibration?
At its core, the Nara clan's Shadow Techniques were Yin Release ninjutsu—they still relied on chakra.
And that shadow stretching across the ground contained chakra.
In this world, chakra was the fundamental essence.
Yu Ye's vibrational force consumed almost no chakra—but it was still chakra-based.
That was why Hatake Sakumo's chakra-infused blade could sever it.
No matter how techniques changed, no matter how strange genjutsu became—
All paths led back to chakra.
Which meant—
Yu Ye could break anything.
"Vibration Release: Superhuman Strength!"
Yu Ye stopped, clenched his fist, and punched forward.
Crack—!!
The air exploded.
Countless raindrops froze midair, while the earth ahead fractured inch by inch.
It was as if the sky and the ground themselves were surging forward together.
In an instant, the shadow Nara Luchi extended was utterly annihilated, collapsing back beneath his feet and reverting to an ordinary shadow.
"What?!"
Nara Luchi was still mid–hand seal, eyes wide with disbelief.
Even with Root's emotionless conditioning, shock surged through him.
Countless battles. Countless kills.
Never—not once—had his Shadow Technique been destroyed head-on like this.
It was unthinkable.
The overwhelming vibrational force slammed into both Root operatives before they could react.
Their masks shattered instantly.
Their bodies twisted grotesquely, as if struck by an invisible hammer, before they were hurled into the mud.
"…He really isn't as sharp as Nara Shikaku," Yu Ye muttered as he withdrew his fist.
"No—he probably doesn't even compare to Shikamaru."
Root's training was thorough—but it stripped away things that shouldn't be lost.
No matter how strong they were, Root shinobi had a clear ceiling.
"Looks like I can really break any ninjutsu or secret technique with raw force."
Yu Ye glanced at his fist, speaking almost absentmindedly.
A power capable of negating all techniques unmistakably belonged to the Six Paths level—the Truth-Seeking Orbs.
They were primordial, near-chaotic matter, capable of erasing nearly all ninjutsu, bloodline techniques, and secret arts.
Only senjutsu chakra could affect them.
And now, Yu Ye's vibrational force was beginning to resemble that concept—
Almost like natural energy,
Almost like Truth-Seeking Orbs,
Something that could counter nearly everything in the shinobi world.
Of course, Yu Ye hadn't yet encountered a true sage, nor any Six Paths–level existence.
He had no real benchmark to compare vibrational force against senjutsu or Six Paths power.
He glanced once at the two corpses on the ground, shook his head, and turned away.
Long after Yu Ye had disappeared—
A grim-faced Shimura Danzō, accompanied by several Root operatives, arrived at the scene.
