Chapter 92 - Chapter 86: The Kirin Horn and The Shadow Clone

Unknown Location: The Black Organization

Unbelievable…

On the secure monitor, the Black Organization's BOSS seemed excited.

He originally thought the experiment had failed. Gin had thought so too. That was why Gin had withdrawn in time, abandoning all his hard work establishing the cult without hesitation to let Masuyama take the fall.

But the Metropolitan Police Department's intervention…

"This is truly…"

An unexpected appearance.

Wiping his trademark Beretta, Gin felt he needed to completely redefine the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He had once considered them barely better than trash—incompetent hounds chasing shadows. But now? They had secretly reorganized and deployed a coordinated superhuman tactical force.

The Metropolitan Police Department… they hid themselves so well.

Knowing the lethal difficulty and the sheer unknowns of the Supernatural Realm, Gin didn't want to get entangled with them for even a moment. Taking advantage of Masuyama's constant probing, Gin had simply exposed the experimental site and left the old man to die. He wanted Masuyama to act as bait to divert the MPD's attention.

Unexpectedly, Masuyama had actually managed to create quite a terrifying abomination before he died.

"It's a pity. The experiment ultimately failed," Vodka muttered, looking at the static on the slightly blurry monitor. His expression was somewhat sullen. This was a bad start for their operations in Japan—a failure right from the beginning.

"No." Gin coldly rejected his old partner's deduction. "This experiment wasn't a failure. It can be considered a successful semi-finished product."

The BOSS, listening through the encrypted comms, knew what Gin was worried about. The capabilities of the Tokyo MPD's new superhuman squad were unknown, and a direct confrontation was not advisable. But hiding in the shadows indefinitely seemed impossible, either. Those supernatural Black Crows seemed very adept at tracking people through unnatural means.

After a moment's thought, the BOSS issued a new directive: "Find the Phantom Thief Kid."

Phantom Thief Kid? Why look for him? A petty jewel thief, no matter how famous, is still just a mortal thief. That was what Vodka thought, anyway.

However, Gin's cold eyes flickered slightly.

Phantom Thief Kid's last confirmed appearance was at Myouou-ji Temple in Japan. It was said that because of the Phantom Thief Kid's mistake, Myouou-ji Temple was almost completely wiped out by a demonic entity, and many tourists were implicated in the disaster.

Surviving such a catastrophic supernatural event proved the elusive thief was indeed a talent. And the Black Organization needed such talent.

Most importantly, Phantom Thief Kid didn't seem to have been caught by the authorities. Even Gin, who was carrying a transcription of superhuman "Knowledge," was being chased all over the place by the MPD's Black Crows. What right did a mere petty thief have to evade them so easily?

Suddenly… it was as if a bolt of lightning had struck Gin's mind. A clear and exciting guess arose spontaneously.

"The Amber Kirin Horn..."

Gin's eyes instantly burned with fervor. His heart skipped a beat.

Yes. Where did the Kirin Horn come from? Myouou-ji!

Myouou-ji was almost completely wiped out, yet the site remained heavily protected by the government, even showing signs of reopening under strict surveillance. This indicated that the Japanese higher-ups deeply valued what was inside Myouou-ji. And as the temple's most precious treasure, the Kirin Horn was very likely a supreme supernatural artifact!

"Gin!" The BOSS, realizing the same connection, spoke with a sharp change in tone. He became anxious and greedy. Such a valuable item… something that should have belonged to the Organization, had been snatched away by a flamboyant thief in a white suit.

"Find him. Bring the Kirin Horn back to me…"

No, that's not right, the BOSS quickly corrected himself.

Gin was no longer suitable to remain in Japan. He had been exposed to the MPD's supernatural radar. If even the Metropolitan Police Department's superhuman squad couldn't find Phantom Thief Kid, Gin's chances as a wanted man were even slimmer.

Since Gin couldn't move freely without risking arrest or execution by the Black Crows, it was better to send an elite member of the Organization whose face was completely unfamiliar to the Japanese occult authorities.

For example… Vermouth would be a perfect choice.

Suginami Ward: Mizunotsuki Residence

Brilliant. Truly impressive.

Even Seiran Mizunotsuki couldn't help but give the Black Organization a thumbs up.

Leave it to you troublemakers to overachieve. He had intentionally leaked a simple, fragmented beginner's guide to curses, and the Organization treated it like dark gospel. And they had actually managed to glean some terrifying insights from it. Masuyama shedding his human form and transforming into a grotesque, amalgamated Curse was proof of their twisted ingenuity.

Talented... Such talent. Seiran couldn't bear to watch Ryuen simply vanish into obscurity either.

Or... how about I orchestrate a twisted, tragic rivalry between Ryuen and the mastermind who expelled him? Making Kiyotaka Ayanokoji act as Ryuen's reluctant 'savior' in the shadows? Now that would be an entertaining script...

His gaze shifted away from the monitoring crystal and opened the System Interface.

[System Points: 360,000]

Seiran immediately unlocked the Naruto module.

Without hesitating, he aggressively exchanged his points for the peak-era templates of Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama.

Instantly, his inner power surged exponentially!

The Six Eyes of Satoru Gojo flawlessly fused with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. The profound, cosmic mysteries of space, cursed energy, and chakra intertwined within his optic nerves, elevating his perception beyond human comprehension.

The integration of the Six Paths Sage's bloodline—the merging of Uchiha and Senju DNA—led to an explosive, cascading growth in all of his physical and mystical attributes.

He clenched his fist, feeling a slight sense of excitement.

In terms of raw, continent-shattering destructive power alone, this new combination was probably stronger than the pure templates of Gojo Satoru and Ryomen Sukuna combined. It was just a little less "conceptually mysterious" than Jujutsu sorcery.

Could I, at full power, withstand a maximum-yield nuclear explosion now? Rumor has it that a nuclear explosion with maximum explosive force exists only in theory, as it would cleanse the earth's surface and cause massive shifts in the continental plates. Seiran admitted he would probably have a hard time withstanding that kind of raw thermal and radioactive power head-on. He'd still need to use his Cursed Techniques (like Limitless) to dodge or deflect it.

Of course… he immediately suppressed his surging aura, relaxing the riot of power in his veins.

Seiran never intended to suppress the world with brute force anyway. That was only a last resort. It would be a short-sighted approach. Using pure force to terrorize everyone would only result in him becoming the boring, lonely ruler of a devastated Earth.

Seiran hadn't forgotten the Cultivator visitors from another world who had recently tried to scout his territory. There was a much larger multiverse out there to play with.

But for now...

Poof!

With a muted bang and a cloud of white smoke, a Shadow Clone appeared beside him.

For Seiran, who now possessed the template of Hashirama Senju, the chakra consumption of maintaining a single Shadow Clone was less than a drop in the ocean. It would just dissipate once its specific task was finished. The main purpose of the Shadow Clone was to facilitate Seiran's multitasking; he couldn't be everywhere at once, especially with so many political pawns moving.

Dispersing the Shadow Clone to handle outside business, Seiran looked downstairs with deep interest.

The Yukinoshita women… what are they up to right now?

The Living Room

In fact, Eri Kisaki didn't know what the Yukinoshita family was up to either.

These past few days, it was her turn to switch bedroom shifts with Detective Miwako Sato. However, as the newly crowned "Mistress of the Harem," Eri had special privileges and could participate in the "games" at any time she wished.

Moreover, Eri intimately understood how obsessed Seiran was with her body. Every time, he practically wanted to devour her completely…

Eri still felt a deep, burning shame about it.

Whenever her dignified lawyer facade broke down and she cried out embarrassing, humiliating pleas like "Daddy!", "I can't take it anymore!", or "I'm going to die!" in the throes of passion... she would inexplicably think of her old friend/rival, Yukiko Kudo.

She wondered if that playful, teasing woman would laugh at her if she saw the Undefeated Queen of the Courtroom reduced to a sobbing, obedient mess.

If she would laugh… then I'll just have to drag that woman into this house, shake her around, and make her shout 'Daddy!' right next to me! Eri thought viciously.

These scandalous, random thoughts flashed rapidly through her mind. Outwardly, however, Eri's expression showed absolutely no sign of anything inappropriate.

Instead, she sat on the velvet sofa, expressionless, wearing her sharpest business suit. She gave off a serious, cold, and utterly unapproachable aura. The perfect Queen.

At least, Haruno Yukinoshita, who was kneeling politely across the low table, found the lawyer to be extremely intimidating.

Haruno hadn't noticed how terrifying Eri Kisaki's aura was before, mostly because Reiko Yukinoshita had still been the Mistress of the house back then…
