Supplies and a few flasks fell over Homer's naked, floating back, with the latter being Liam's Master's rank 1 Qi-recovery elixirs. Liam could take one to replace the one he had just drunk, but everything else was useless to him.
In hindsight, that scarcity made sense. Foundation experts didn't have the time and opportunities to accumulate valuable resources. Most of their finances went on martial arts and nutrients for their cores, which they didn't carry around.
