He settled himself at the edge of the bed before turning his attention back to me, and my blood instantly ran cold.
When he reached toward me, I inched back in fear, leaving his hand hanging in the air.
He let out a low chuckle, an unsettling smirk curling across his lips.
Then—swift as lightning—he moved. His hands slammed against the headboard, caging me between his arms. He leaned in, my heart hammering so hard I could hear it in my ears.
I drew the sheets closer.
His breath, hot against my neck, sent shivers down my spine.
His hand slowly moved inside the cover—caressing my body, his touch tender and gentle, yet terror still clawed at my chest. Panicking , I pushed at him, desperate to escape.
My strength barely shifted him—only enough to create a little space, never enough to free myself.
His dark, piercing gaze locked onto mine, and I trembled.
"Please… don't hurt me,I didn't…" I whispered, my voice breaking along with the rest of me.
