Meanwhile, as Draen and Pyrus continued their tense confrontation, Drakar quietly closed his eyes and extended his mana sense, allowing it to spread through the winding tunnels of the Rift Cave.
It didn't take long before he found the source of the overwhelming dragon mana clashing several chambers away.

The familiar aura belonged to none other than Draen.
Despite being imprisoned for nearly a month, Drakar recognized it instantly. Although his strength had diminished considerably from his prolonged confinement, he was still a true dragon. As long as he still drew breath, sensing another dragon's mana came as naturally as breathing.
Leaning his head against the cold cave wall, he let out a long, exhausted sigh.
