After the long evening of games and laughter, it was finally time to leave.
Juri stretched his arms lazily.
"We should go now."
Zhou Kai nodded.
Xiao Yushen also stood up.
One by one, they said their goodbyes.
Chen walked them to the door while Yun Hu sat like a fluffy guard watching everyone leave.
Soon the three guests stepped out of the apartment building.
Night had already fallen.
Streetlights glowed warmly along the road, and the cool evening air carried the soft hum of the city.
They walked together for a while.
No one spoke much.
Everyone was still thinking about the unexpected events of the evening.
When they reached the bus stop, Juri and Zhou Kai stopped.
Xiao glanced toward the road.
"I'll take a taxi," he said quietly.
Juri nodded.
"Good night, Professor."
Zhou Kai also waved.
"See you tomorrow."
A taxi soon arrived, and Xiao stepped inside.
As the car drove away, the city lights reflected faintly in the window beside him.
