They were just about to leave the riddle stall when the elderly grandmother suddenly called after them.
"Hey, young couple! Did you two go to the Moon Temple?"
Both Chen and Xu Jin stopped.
Chen's footsteps halted so abruptly that Yun Hu, nestled comfortably in his arms, lifted his head in confusion.
"Y-young couple?" Chen repeated.
Beside him, Xu Jin coughed into his fist, though the smile threatening to appear on his face completely betrayed his composure.
The grandmother looked at them as though she had said something perfectly ordinary.
"Yes, young couple. The Moon Temple is just up the mountain. You should go and pray together. It will bring good luck and blessings!"
Chen's ears became warm.
"We aren't—"
Xu Jin immediately interrupted.
"Yes, Grandma. We'll go."
Chen turned toward him with disbelief.
Why are you agreeing so quickly?!
Xu Jin, however, was already asking for directions.
"Which way is the temple?"
