"She drank it," the waiter said quietly, his voice trembling with excitement and fear at the same time. "My money."
Riven didn't even hesitate. He reached into his wallet, pulled out a thick wad of cash, and stuffed it into the waiter's hands without bothering to count the bills. The movement came with a smug smile, the kind that carried a sense of victory.
