Hello everyone,
So as you know, after the next few arcs in the story, the Uchiha clan will finally leave Konoha and move to another location. Because of that, I'm currently facing a bit of a dilemma regarding the plot.
For the past few weeks, I've been thinking about whether the Uchiha clan should leave alone or whether they should take some other clans with them.
For example, one idea I had was to bring the Nara clan along. Nara Shikaku is a wise man, and if the Uchiha offer certain benefits—like protection from the upcoming conflicts and showing the unstable situation inside Konoha—it might make sense for them to ally with the new nation. In that case, the Ino–Shika–Cho alliance could also become an important subordinate faction.
Then I had another idea involving the Hyuga clan. In this scenario, Itachi would go to them and demonstrate overwhelming power, along with a sealing jutsu capable of controlling or even removing the Caged Bird Seal from the branch members. That could potentially lead to the Hyuga clan being brought under Uchiha control.
After that, I even considered adding the Inuzuka clan. And once I started thinking like that, it slowly turned into the idea of bringing multiple clans along using different methods and strategies.
But then another thought hit me. If I continue adding more and more clans, then in the end the Uchiha's new nation would basically become another version of Konoha. At that point I started thinking—what would even be the point of all these chapters about leaving Konoha if we are just going to recreate the same thing somewhere else?
If the end result is just another Konoha, then the Uchiha might as well conquer the original Konoha instead of leaving and building a new one from scratch.
And well, if I write the plot like that, I'm pretty sure some of you amazing readers would start blessing my ancestors with some very "kind" words in the comments. Jokes aside, even I didn't feel that approach would be very proper, since it would make a lot of the earlier developments feel unnecessary.
So the second option is much simpler: only the Uchiha clan will leave Konoha. Of course, Naruto will go with them—we definitely can't leave him in that hellhole.
Then another idea came to my mind. If Naruto leaves with the Uchiha but Hinata stays in Konoha, what if Naruto eventually ends up with someone from the Uchiha clan instead?
Since the Uchiha will no longer be connected to Konoha after leaving, many canon characters from the original Naruto story would naturally appear less often in the plot. So I thought it might be interesting to introduce an original character from the Uchiha clan.
To be honest, it would also be fun for me as a writer to create a completely new Uchiha character—maybe an arrogant or tsundere type who strongly embodies the pride of the Uchiha clan, unlike characters like Mikoto or Izumi who are more gentle.
So what do you all think about these ideas? I'd really like to hear your suggestions and opinions.
