Itachi used his Omnidimensional Awareness to its limit to sense the location and, after a while, thought to himself.
"Mirror Clone, protect Mizumori... System, disable the Divine Sovereignty protection against that guy... Let's see what's going on."

Itachi opened his eyes, but they widened slightly in surprise... It had been quite a while since he had been this surprised and interested, as there were not many in this world who could capture his attention.
In front of him was a couple, with the lady wearing an Uchiha robe lying dead in the arms of another. The man was heavily injured, with sharp wounds covering his body, while his right eye was bleeding heavily as it slowly turned white.
This wasn't what surprised Itachi... What surprised him was the identity of the man...
It was the young... DANZO.

Danzo muttered with difficulty as he looked at Itachi, who had appeared in front of him as if by magic.
Itachi could see desperation, hatred, anger, betrayal, despair, and many other emotions in Danzo's eyes, making him doubt whether this guy was really Danzo or just a look-alike.
"Are... you God?"
"I am... Mortal, you summoned me at the cost of one Mangekyō Sharingan... State your wish."
Hearing Danzo's words, Itachi suddenly had the desire to become a genie and thus spoke with a booming voice.

"So, what's the story? You, a core member of Konoha, became a rogue ninja, and your partner is dead. Don't worry, time is stopped outside, so no one can take any action."
Itachi, seeing Danzo's hesitation, said calmly.
"Everything began a few decades ago. Konoha was formed by the union of the Uchiha and Senju Clans. Other clans were also convinced by the beliefs of First Hokage-sama and joined together. The Sarutobi and Shimura Clans followed the trend, and I became the disciple of that bastard at the age of five.
In the following years, that bastard recruited four more disciples as we started growing stronger and doing missions for the village. I had a very good relationship with Uchiha Kagami and Akimichi Torifu, as we always suppressed Hiruzen's team.
I thought this would continue as I pursued my dream of becoming Hokage, but First Hokage-sama, after fighting Uchiha Madara, became injured and passed away a few years later, starting the First Great Ninja War.
I, along with my five teammates, joined the Hokage Guards, becoming Tobirama's guards. During the war, I once saved an Uchiha girl who I later found out was Kagami's sister. We gradually fell in love and even became engaged.
A few days ago, the war was finally at its end as we, along with Kumogakure, agreed to form a peace treaty. But unexpectedly, there was a rebellion within the ranks of Kumogakure, and they successfully killed the Raikage.
Then they pursued us as we rushed toward the Land of Fire, but it was clearly impossible to escape unscathed from more than twenty elite ninjas. At that moment, Tobirama asked us who would hold back the Kumogakure forces.
While we were still in a dilemma, Kagami raised his voice first and agreed to hold back the Kumogakure forces. Seeing this, Torifu and I also agreed to this suicide mission. We didn't feel there was anything wrong with that, as we were the Hokage Guards, ready to die to protect the Hokage.
Tobirama agreed and left with Hiruzen and the other two, while we rushed toward the Kumogakure forces. Torifu died first against the Gold and Silver Brothers, while Kagami and I were cornered by the remaining ninjas.
Seeing this, Kagami awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and, at the cost of one Izanagi, annihilated half of the Kumogakure forces.
While the Kumogakure forces were intimidated by Kagami's sudden strength, I took the drained Kagami and escaped. They didn't follow, as they were still wary of Tobirama and Konoha's reinforcements and they had already completed their goal.
Yesterday, when I returned to Konoha.... I found that there was a very lively atmosphere. After gathering some intelligence from the Shimura Clan, I understood that Tobirama had retired from his position and declared Hiruzen the Third Hokage.
Although I was confused by Tobirama's sudden retirement and disappointed at losing my chance of becoming Hokage, I accepted his decision.
But last night, elites of the Uchiha Clan arrived at my house for a discussion. Hearing from them, I understood that there hadn't even been a proper procedure or a single meeting of the jōnin or clan leaders regarding Hiruzen's appointment.
When the Uchiha Clan protested and demanded fair elections, although there was some disturbance, ultimately, due to the absence of Kagami, their leader, and because of the Uchiha Clan's past history (Madara's betrayal and Setsuna's rebellion), no one supported the Uchiha, and Tobirama dismissed it on the grounds of disturbing the village's peace while it's in war.
Then I understood that Tobirama had given the reason that he had been injured during the First Great Ninja War and was no longer suitable to continue, while Hiruzen had performed exceptionally well during the war and had even protected him during the last peace meeting, giving him immense credit.
Hearing the enraged tone of the Uchiha Clan members, I understood that if they weren't calmed down, another Uchiha rebellion would occur. I was also indignant at Tobirama's bias toward Hiruzen as well as the false credit given to Hiruzen, so I agreed to the alliance.
Today, before Hiruzen's ceremony, during the final Hokage succession meeting, I raised my voice against this blatant disregard for Konoha's laws and demanded fair elections, with the Shimura Clan supporting Uchiha Kagami. The Akimichi Clan, seeing me stand up, didn't support me, but along with the Nara and Yamanaka Clans, they formed a neutral faction.
Under the pressure, Tobirama agreed, and Hiruzen's succession ceremony was canceled. I thought that I had once again won against Hiruzen and even against Tobirama, but tonight, news suddenly came from the Uchiha Clan.... Kagami had committed suicide.
