Chapter 294 - Chapter 93: Travel Blogger

"Just wear it."

A thin silver thread was threaded through the bell's loop and tied around Mori Tsukisa's ankle.

The crazy girl hummed a polyphonic tune while biting into a butterfly pastry, her foot resting on the knee of the kneeling Anck-Su-Namun. The woman was focused on tying the knot for her Master.

"To be honest, it's really hard for me to believe that the rumored Walker of All Realms is a fellow like you." Bastet held a white porcelain teacup, slowly sipping her black tea. "You can barely take care of yourself. Can't you even bend over?"

Looking at the content Nagini, Bastet felt something was off. Moreover, Mori Tsukisa had a look of complete entitlement.

"Do you have the right to talk about me, little sea urchin? Don't you gods also accept offerings from Mortals every moment?"

"Those are offerings; I'm talking about basic self-care."

Nagini lightly patted Mori Tsukisa's instep, letting her Master know she could pull her foot back. "lady bastet, I was the one who brewed your black tea."

Bastet:... "Anyway..." The black cat twitched its ears and took another large gulp of tea. "Anyway, if Nagini isn't around one day, you're doomed..."

Arrietty sneered.

What are you thinking?

There's still a pink-haired fake sister at home.

Besides, with the Queen's figure, can she even curl her legs? Do you think everyone is as flat as if they've been repeatedly run over by a steamroller like you?

The Little Sprite didn't realize she had been infected by Nagini's habits as she maliciously speculated about the black cat deity sitting behind the round table.

"I know about the 'Eye of Khonshu.' It's a very special semi-artifact—don't look at me like that, you can't compare us to your mother... Bastard, don't show me that bracelet either, that's an artifact! You don't understand the power of the Multiverse at all..."

"Sigh, anyway, it is indeed called a 'semi-artifact' in my World, not because of its great power, but because of its collection value—Khonshu products have great value for collectors."

"It's ineffective against gods, and for Mortals, it doesn't affect many people; those who have the ability don't need it at all—but based on the creator's reputation, it must be a semi-artifact..."

Mori Tsukisa gave an "Ooh." "So it's just trash?"

"Give it to me if you don't want it." The black cat was annoyed by Mori Tsukisa's ungrateful attitude. "This is a creation of Khonshu; no one has seen that god for a very long time—this bell is a highly valued collector's item among gods. Many goddesses like Khonshu..."

"Even though they've never seen him?" Mori Tsukisa was curious. "They haven't seen him, yet they yearn for him?"

"Yes... some legends circulate even among gods..."

So he's an idol.

"Understand? If you don't like that bell, I can trade it for a whisker that brings luck..." Bastet tempted the girl bit by bit. "Gods have special methods to ensure the bell won't run away on its own... If you wear it, it might just disappear one day."

"No way. I actually quite like it." Mori Tsukisa decisively refused. Her intuition told her this bell was interesting. "Besides, your lucky whisker?"

The girl looked at Bastet's mouth and suddenly reached out. "Aren't those available whenever you want..."

Bastet swatted away the girl's fingers that were about to pinch its whiskers!

Bastard!

It has to be voluntary; who told you to just reach out and pull one!

The exhausted black cat took a large gulp of tea. After putting the cup down, it casually scanned the surroundings and noticed that Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun were not in the cabin.

Only then did it ask about the 'sinner.' "By the way, what do you plan to do with Imhotep?"

Mori Tsukisa sat back on the high stool.

The girl's feet couldn't reach the floor, so she kicked her legs back and forth; the silver bell jingled melodiously. The afternoon sunlight from the sky made the dust motes in the quiet airship float even slower.

The sound of the bell added a bit of liveliness to the lazy and comfortable scene.

"Imhotep?" Mori Tsukisa moved her feet, her gaze fixed on the silver ball on her ankle without looking up. "I've already decided to take the couple with me. Any problem?"

"You don't really think a Planeswalker's cardification is omnipotent, do you?" Bastet licked the back of its paw and then rubbed the corner of its mouth. "The situation with Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun is different. You did indeed bring Anck-Su-Namun's soul back from the River of the Dead."

"But Imhotep is different."

"He is a sinner, a monster condemned by the Sun God to the bottom of the Duat River. Do you think a semi-transcendent Book of the Dead can completely return his soul? Don't you think it's strange that Anubis could easily seal his magic back in Laputa?"

"I noticed that a long time ago!" The girl partially raised her feet.

"You noticed my foot!" With an annoyed meow, the black cat looked around, confirming once more that Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun were absent, and continued, "That's a mark placed by a god. Unless your strength is already enough to ignore the power of the orthodox pantheon led by the Sun God..."

"I can't, can I?"

The black cat didn't speak, just smiled at her.

What do you think?

"Oh... I probably can't."

Sigh.

Bastet scratched its chin irritably. Every time it talked to this unreliable girl, it got so angry its teeth itched; call her stupid, yet many times her seemingly chaotic intuition hit the mark; call her smart... impossible, anyone who isn't blind can see she's not the brightest bulb.

"Unless." Bastet looked pointedly at the ornate chandelier above. "Unless you call your mother again."

"That could easily shatter the Sun God's curse lock. But, are you willing to trouble your Mama for Imhotep?"

Mori Tsukisa was naturally unwilling; she was someone who hated trouble above all else. If it really didn't work, then forget it; she didn't want an Attendant that badly anyway.

Regarding those followers, the girl had always maintained an extremely casual attitude—just like how she absolutely hated the protagonist's attitude toward life in Muramasa Senju's "Legend of the Fantasy Demon Blade."

It was as if every step that underage male protagonist took had been calculated in his mind long ago.

So boring.

She still preferred the "Dragon Ball" she drew herself. A manga that should have been 90% fighting (as Akasaka Akane strongly suggested) had been affectionately called by netizens since the second volume: A story about finding cutlery in a cake.

10% fighting + 90% tea parties (Mori Tsukisa's willful insistence).

Today the protagonist learns to bake a cake... Tomorrow the protagonist's Master goes to see a beach swimsuit fashion show... and so on.

Cough, anyway, whether the sales of this manga would plummet in the later stages was not something Mori Tsukisa considered; just like how Bastet had suggested she try to "cardify" some powerful Attendants in the future.

No way.

She planned to be a beautiful travel blogger, seeing beautiful scenery, eating delicious food, and meeting interesting people—the girl was only willing to take along companions she could have fun with.

Bringing her thoughts back, the conversation returned to Imhotep.

Mori Tsukisa thought for a moment. "Since you've put it that way, the great lady bastet must have another way, right?"

The black cat pretended to shake its head. "That depends on whether someone can beg me—"

"Oh, goodbye."

Completely ignoring the "beg me" part, the girl had already turned around to chat about something else with her Attendant.

Go to hell, you big-breasted brainless monster!
