"They found us!"
The youth in the uniform suddenly looked back, only to see twelve figures rapidly approaching the two of them. Among them were two strange-looking creatures—what appeared to be some sort of bird-type magical beast and a cat-type magical beast.
"Relax," the uniformed boy said with a confident smile. "Even those Tai-ma-nin would fall to my—er, even they've heard of my reputation. A mere Demon Realm Army is nothing to worry about!"
However, as the group drew closer, expressions of confusion appeared on both their faces. Having just arrived in this mysterious space, their hearts had been entirely focused on exploring the unknown, causing them to subconsciously ignore a specific sense of dissonance deep within. Now, as the distance closed, that strange feeling became increasingly obvious.
They were clearly strangers, and two of them were even non-human creatures, but why did they feel so familiar?
"Everyone, you all look a bit familiar. Have we met somewhere before?" The uniformed boy took a quiet step back. The feeling of someone looking familiar was usually not good news for him.
Usually, there were only two scenarios that led to this. First, the group in front of him had been hypnotized by him long ago, and after a period of deep, 'intensive' interaction, he had grown bored, released the hypnosis, and left. Because it was so long ago, he had completely forgotten that part of his life.
But that was impossible. The people across from him were either hulking bruisers or handsome guys, plus two strange animals. His tastes couldn't be that extreme. No matter how many times he reinstalled the 'P-system,' he wouldn't suddenly develop a preference for being a Top or a Bottom.
That left only the second possibility, which was also the worst-case scenario: he had once fallen into the hands of these people, something 'delightful' had happened, and then they had grown bored of him and wiped his memory.
Terrible. Just thinking about it made his skin crawl. His stomach churned, and his lips twitched as he felt a phantom chill in his lower half.
"Of course we've met," Ninja World Makiya said with a laugh. "You just need to look in a mirror to see one of us. Though, the details might differ slightly."
The youth in ragged clothes looked thoughtful. "You mean... wait, I remember now! The Proctologist, right?! We're all on the same side?!"
"Smart!" Hacker Makiya nodded. "You're the most talented one of this batch of newcomers."
"Thank god, my 'cheat' finally arrived." The youth in ragged clothes felt as if he'd been granted a pardon, looking at the group as if they were his saviors. "You have no idea how miserable I've been. I haven't even had water lately. Those vam..."
"Wait, what are you guys talking about?!" The uniformed boy was utterly bewildered. How did the civilian next to him suddenly become part of their gang?
Because the world he had transmigrated into was so 'vibrant,' he had completely forgotten everything about his previous life, leaving him confused by their riddles.
'Proctologist'? Why was everyone talking about being 'warm-hearted towards the inner passage'? These people clearly had designs on him! That muscular guy with the bulging veins over there must be a Power Top. Please, not that... go find Tatsuro Akiyama, he's much more suited for this than I am!
"Stop overthinking and try sharing memories. If I recall correctly, we just need to touch,"
