Titi appeared at my side out of nowhere, grabbed my elbow, and yanked me into the corner by the stupid fake plant wall.
I almost dropped the drink in my hand. My heart was already beating too fast from seeing him walk in, and now Titi was dragging me like we were about to commit a crime.
"Jesus, Titi," I muttered. "What is wrong with you?"
She pushed me against the wall of fake leaves and leaned in close like we were in some spy movie. Her eyes were wide and excited. The girl loved drama more than oxygen.
"Okay," she hissed. "Spill. You're still obsessed with him, right? Don't lie. I saw your face when he walked in. You looked like you were gonna faint and come at the same time."
I rubbed my face. "I hate you."
"Love you too. Answer."
I dropped my hands and looked at her. She was staring at me like she was waiting for the best gossip of the century.
