The next day, Raiden dreaded meeting Morgana again. Even he knew the excuse he made to run away last night was pathetic. But when he greeted her in the morning, she acted like nothing had happened, acting nonchalant.
"Morning, what's for breakfast today??" Seeing her greet him so nonchalantly, Raiden started to feel awkward.
"Hey, listen... About last night..."
"Hmm? Did something happen last night?? I don't remember anything, do you??" Morgana fixed a stare on Raiden, making him unable to meet her eyes in guilt.
"That's what I thought. Now breakfast. Hurry up." Morgana had thought it through. She was done taking the initiative. Now it was up to him to do something about it.
And if he didn't do anything?? Then she guessed it wasn't meant to be. She couldn't have been more obvious.
Raiden didn't say anything and just went to the kitchen to make breakfast. After that, both of them spent the entire morning without speaking to each other, eating their breakfast in awkward silence.
