Raiden looked at the message in front of him with a disbelieving expression on his face. For a moment, he genuinely thought he had read it wrong. His eyes went over the words once, then twice, then a third time.
Beast Tide.
Sylvia, seeing his face lose colour, grabbed his sleeve tightly. "Brother... what does it say? Did something bad happen again?"
Raiden did not answer her immediately.
It had only been a few minutes since the Level 2 alert was raised, but now the Level 3 alert came so soon.
A beast tide meant tens of thousands at minimum. If it was large enough to trigger a Level 3 alert this quickly after a Level 2, then it might be hundreds of thousands or worse.
It also meant the city had either confirmed a commander-type beast among them or judged that the front line was no longer capable of containing the flow. And a commander type meant Semi-Mythical at the very least.
