Leo fell to his knees before finally collapsing completely onto the cold concrete floor. The two gunshots had found their mark in his own body as he struggled to wrest the weapon from Richard. A thick, crimson liquid began to seep out rapidly, soaking his white shirt until it turned a deep, saturated red.
"LEO!" Celine screamed hysterically. Her voice broke, a high-pitched wail that pierced through the stagnant room. She thrashed in her seat until the wooden legs of the chair screeched harshly against the floor.
However, within seconds, the chaos intensified.
DOR! DOR! DOR!
A rapid succession of gunshots exploded from the entrance. Police forces surged inside with weapons drawn, neutralizing Richard and Lucas before either could offer further resistance. Richard fell after a lead bullet struck his shoulder, while Lucas was forced facedown, his face hitting the floor.
