Chapter 45 - No Waifu!

Whether it was the lecturer or the students around, all of them looked at Min-Jun strangely and felt nervous, yet somehow, they also looked at the beautiful female, who sat by his side, seemingly quiet but graceful.

However, no one thought to say anything, as they knew well that, despite her beautiful visage, Cha Hae-In was one of the S-Rank Hunters in Korea and a warrior.

If they said something nonsensical, would she cut them off?

Yet, without a doubt, this tension, which came from the presence of two S-Rank Hunters that stayed in the same room as them... was just too much for them.

Still, the perpetrator of this incident, Kim Min-Jun, focused on his study, and he even ignored Hae-In, who kept staring at him despite her attempts to hide her acts.

Why did she do so?

Let's ask her the question later, as at this moment, it was a rare time for him to think about his future as a Hunter.

As for his future as an influencer and a graduate of the psychology department, it didn't really matter for now, since his focus was on a different scale.

If it was before, he was thinking about his survival, his future, and how he could live from then on. As for the problems of the final wars, gates, and dungeons, as he was a mortal and wasn't even a hunter before, the world's problems had nothing to do with him.

Yes, he knew that it might sound apathetic, but as he wasn't even a Hunter, and was even exhausted to survive on this world, how could he think about the other things, right?

The only way for him to live, despite how embarrassing it was, was by relying on Sung Jin-Woo.

Min-Jun knew that Jin-Woo might be a little naive and also often did everything by himself, but it was normal, as that was how Jin-Woo had been living, and despite Jin-Woo becoming stronger, his core didn't change.

Which was why Min-Jun was glad that he could become a Hunter, since that way, he could help Jin-Woo, as no matter what, they had helped each other and had known each other since childhood.

However, because he had become an S-Rank Hunter, he knew there were a lot of problems that he would face, especially the problems on Jeju Island and in North Korea.

The immense war between the Monarchs and the Rulers might be dangerous, but compared to that last war, which would take a while, and with his current power, there was nothing he could do, he knew that he needed to think of a way to survive during the raid of Jeju Island and North Korea.

Whether on Jeju Island or in North Korea, the monsters had ravaged those areas, and no living beings except the monsters lived there.

All the humans in the area were either running away, killed, or eaten by the monsters, making those two places forbidden areas, and making the small Korea even smaller.

While becoming an S-Rank Hunter would solve his money problems, it wouldn't solve the dangerous situation that he had to enter those two areas.

Unlike Jin-Woo, who could hide in the shadows and also had a skill that made him able to hide his presence, Min-Jun was an archer, and other than using a long-range attack with a bow, or creating an arrow-shaped from mana, what else could he do?

'What do you think, the Manager?'

[Report. There are many possibilities. Do you want us to analyze the potential of the S-Rank Hunter?]

Sure.

[Defining the S-Rank Archer.]

[Refining the Archer Profile.]

[Prioritizing Skill Synergy.]

[The result has been created. Do you want to read it?]

Yes.

Min-Jun was curious, and naturally, the Manager quickly explained about the possibilities that he, as an Archer Class Hunter, could do.

First, his fighting style should be analytical, calm, and manipulative. Instead of running around, he stood at the very back, even behind the Healers, acting like a tactical sniper, crippling the monsters by shooting them in the eyes or knees, and had Hae-In do the finishing.

In other words, he became the eyes, the one who held the information of the entire dungeon, redirecting everyone, so the raid could be finished as soon as possible without anyone getting hurt.

Was this possible?

Naturally, as he had the "Manager," which helped him analyze the environment and everything else in the dungeon, making him a perfect GPS, a radar, or whatever one would call it.

This role might appear quite low-key, or even weak, yet everyone had their own roles, and Min-Jun didn't mind doing the boring work, as long as he could win.

Also, he could have the "Manager" create various skills that could be used directly in his battle.

Still, suddenly, he thought of the knowledge he gained from Suzuki from the world of Naruto, who could analyze the skill of others and replicate it.

'Is it possible for me to do that?'

[Affirmative.]

'Really? Even if the classes that we're from are different?'

[Based on the data that we have collected, it is possible since, in the end, class is nothing but just a different vibration that comes from the mana that is born on the Hunter's body. For example, how the ninjas in the world of Naruto have a water nature, and others are born with a fire nature. While it isn't impossible, it will be difficult for one to master a jutsu that is different from their chakra nature. Still, the user has the "Manager," which can help the user to calculate the frequency needed to master the skills of others.]

"....." Min-Jun.

Yet, he didn't deny this possibility since, like how Suzuki from the world of Naruto could master all types of ninja's nature type by changing the frequency of his chakra, then if he used the "Manager" to change the frequency of his mana, then wouldn't it be possible for him to replicate the other classes?

However, somehow, he wanted to be an archer more—why?

Wasn't this class weak?

In terms of support, the healers could have been more effective.

In terms of damage, the Warriors were better.

In terms of defense, the tankers were better.

In terms of the wide area of attack, the mages were better.

In terms of speed, the assassins were better.

Then, what was Archer better than the other classes?

Well, if he had to say, it would be how clean he would be.

Yes, being clean.

Fighters, Tanks, or Assassins, they got covered in monster blood, guts, and slime. They smelled terrible. They had to touch the disgusting creatures physically.

Mages had to stand still and chant, often acting as "artillery" that needed protection. They were vulnerable.

Healers? Is there a need to explain it unless one loves to play support?

Also, while it might be strange for him to say this, the fact that there was an S-Rank Healer Hunter in Korea, who couldn't get a proper job, and could only try to pass the civil servant exam, meant that this class wasn't respected at all in this country.

Regardless, without a doubt, the fact that Archer was better than any of them was due to the distance.

When everyone had to stay close, he could stand 2 kilometers away on a floating platform, wearing a pristine Italian suit, sipping espresso while his mana arrows disintegrated the enemy.

Instead of smelling like a sewer rat, he went home smelling like expensive cologne.

Yes, he knew this class wasn't perfect, and he knew it had a weakness, which was why, if he could replicate the system, his life would be as good as guaranteed.

Only, as he was in deep thought, Cha Hae-In kept staring at him.
