Chapter 58 - My Weapon

A spike.

While it sounded strange, this was the weapon that he chose, as it was simple yet deadly, as all he needed was to stab his opponent.

Moreover, as he combined this weapon with his King Crimson-like ability, or the Frame Deletion, he could create an armor-piercing tank shell (an APFSDS round) like an attack.

Yes, instead of treating it like a knife and slashing with it, they used it to penetrate an opponent with a strong defence, especially those who were good at reinforcing their bodies with Cursed Energy. Facing such an opponent who was practically wearing Kevlar, if he used a wide-range attack, such as his fist, their armor would block it.

P=F/A

Suzuki applied the physics of pressure, where P is pressure, F is force, and A is the area over which it is applied, indicating that pressure is directly proportional to force and inversely proportional to the area over which it is applied.

So, what did it mean?

Larger Area = Lower Pressure: If you distribute the same force over a larger area (e.g., snowshoes), pressure decreases.

Smaller Area = Higher Pressure: If you apply the same force to a smaller area (e.g., a needle), pressure increases significantly.

His spike was small, and by concentrating the immense kinetic energy of his Mach-speed from the Frame Deletion into a point with almost zero surface area, the pressure reached infinite levels.

The result?

The spike ignores Cursed Energy reinforcement entirely. It doesn't cut; it displaces matter. When he pushes it through a sorcerer's collarbone or a Special Grade Curse's skull, it slides through like a hot needle through butter, instantly severing nerve clusters and shutting down their motor functions.

This was also why he chose tungsten as the material, as it is a metal with exceptional heat resistance and hardness.

So, why didn't he create it before, and why did he only create it now?

That's because manufacturing tungsten is a nightmare!

In the real world, tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals (around 3422°C), making it incredibly difficult to cast, and it is notoriously brittle if not alloyed perfectly.

If Suzuki used a normal factory, the spikes would have micro-fractures and shatter on impact. Mai's Construction Sorcery bypasses the laws of metallurgy. She mentally visualized a flawless, single-crystal tungsten lattice and spawned it into reality.

Using her innate technique, she created perfectly smooth, indestructible 8-inch tungsten stakes that taper to a point only a few atoms wide.

"Why did you choose this weapon? Will you give it a special ability or something?"

Maki loved weapons, and because of that, she wondered why, among all the weapons that existed in this world, Suzuki, whom she knew as the smartest guy on Earth, would choose this weapon and ask her sister to create it.

"No. None at all. This thing doesn't have any special ability or attribute. It's just a hard, sharp spike. That's it."

"..." 2x

"...what's the use of it?"

Mai might be the one who created this tungsten spike for Suzuki, but even so, she felt that this weapon was useless, as its shape was just too simple, and it had no other attribute except for being hard and not being easy to melt.

"Isn't that enough reason for me to choose this weapon?"

"....." 2x

Suzuki sighed and looked at Maki. "Look at Maki, she has no Cursed Energy at all, yet do you think she is weak?"

"....."

While Mai was speechless, Maki quickly realized why Suzuki chose this weapon. "I see! This weapon is like me!"

"What do you mean?! Why do you understand?! You made me feel stupid!"

"...." Maki.

"You know about Maki's Heavenly Restriction, right?"

"Of course."

Even if Maki had no Cursed Energy, Mai felt like Maki was stronger than her, and while she didn't want to admit it, she felt useless by Maki's side, as, despite having her Cursed Energy, all she could do was create more bullets.

Yet, without a doubt, after Maki lost all the Cursed Energy within her body, her strength grew tremendously, and she had become someone with the physical prowess of a Demigod!

While she was a female, her strength was as strong as that of Heracles, the Greek Legend.

More importantly, as she had no Cursed Energy, it was practically impossible to detect her.

Why was it like that?

To the laws of Jujutsu, Maki is not a person. She is a building.

Sorcerers are trained to dodge attacks by sensing the "spark" of Cursed Energy right before a technique is fired.

However, Maki had no such "spark" of Cursed Energy at all. Therefore, the enemy's Jujutsu instincts told them they were perfectly safe because they didn't sense any magical threat, and by the time their biological eyes registered the physical metal, her blade had already chopped their heads off.

And the weapon Suzuki chose resembled her, strong like her body. Second, it was invincible, as it had no Cursed Energy, so when he activated his Delete Frame and stabbed his opponent before their eyes registered what was happening, the spike was already embedded in their brain stem.

"So, do you understand now why I chose this weapon?"

"Ah, um, yes." Mai nodded dumbly, yet looked at her sister, Maki.

After their training days, while she provided all the support, Maki's strength grew tremendously, as if she had become the cyborg assassin from the future.

Even Suzuki had to admit that if he didn't have his "Manager," which helped him detect Maki, read her movements, predict her, and send an attack during her openings, it would be troublesome to fight Maki, since she was simply strong.

Simple is the best.

Compared to his Projection Sorcery, which was troublesome to use and needed a certain IQ to master, Maki's Heavenly Restriction was just simple and easy to use, as she grew stronger.

To make Maki stronger, all Suzuki did was just let her master and feel the mastery of her full body since he knew well that once she got used to everything, as long as she didn't face Gojo, who couldn't be killed due to his "Infinity," then 99,999% were under the threat of death from her.

Oh, if she got a powerful weapon, too, then it would be great, especially if she gained the Inverted Spear of Heaven, which could cancel techniques, nullifying all techniques, and rendering them meaningless.

Still, it would take a lot of money to recreate such a weapon, which made Suzuki sigh.

"Anyway, it's enough about us. Now, it's about you, Mai."

"Eh? Me? Do you want me to create it again?"

Yup, in Mai's mind, her role was nothing but just like that of a blacksmith or a factory, since she knew that she couldn't grow that strong, especially when her ability just allowed her to make more than a single bullet—

"Let's make you stronger."

"...." Mai.

"Eh?"

---

No, Mai won't just make three bullets a day.

Still, welcome to JJK!
