Chapter 71 - The Armory

The Zenin Clan was immense, but among all the places, the one that attracted Suzuki the most was its armory, as it held the largest collection of Special Grade and Grade 1 Cursed Tools in the world.

In the eyes of others, it might be a simple weapon collection, but the ways of the Cursed Tools worked in the Jujutsu World were different from normal weapons.

In the Jujutsu economy, these tools act like gold bullion. They are priceless assets that support society's values.

Among all of those weapons, Suzuki knew that there was also the Inverted Spear of Heaven, the only weapon that was capable of negating Gojo's Infinity!

This was the reason why he came to the armory, as he wanted to see whether he could get it.

Many might say he should develop his own techniques instead of relying on weapons, but since he already had them, why should he waste them, right?

More importantly, it might be useful for others in another world.

Their ability, "sharing," enabled them to share each other's knowledge, so they did not need to learn anything twice, as the others had learned, and all they needed to do was use the "Manager" to download and upload that knowledge into their minds.

So, while he wasn't even a blacksmith and didn't really intend to make weapons as blacksmiths did, the others would probably be interested.

'But, a blacksmith, huh?'

Instead of a blacksmith who would hammer the metal, shaping it into a weapon, he wanted a factory where he could turn on the machine and have everything done automatically as he got his weapons.

Probably, the others wanted to feel the romance of the blacksmith. Still, Suzuki had no such intention, as he was afraid his back, arms, and all other things would be ruined if he really dared to do the blacksmithing. He was simply a newbie from the modern world, spending most of his time at his desk studying physics. He might do a workout, but it was to keep his fitness up, as he only did it for 45 minutes a day in the morning.

Still, more importantly, he had no prior knowledge of the weapons, whether for the blacksmith, metallurgy, or other things necessary. With the "Manager," it was possible for him to learn all of that knowledge, but he felt that he might as well focus on his Projection Sorcery and all the other things that he needed the most currently, as weapons weren't something that he needed the most.

The tungsten spike in his pocket was enough, after all.

Yet, what about Suzuki in another world?

In the world of Naruto?

Hmm... Ninja Suzuki had many other things to learn, as the mystery of chakra was far deeper than anyone could imagine.

So, the world of Solo Leveling?

Kim Min-Jun was an archer after all, and the armory of the Zenin Clan was mostly about close combat weapons. More importantly, if one talked about the quality of weapons, it seemed that the world of Solo Leveling had better quality weapons, especially in terms of materials, since, unlike in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, where the monsters, or cursed spirits, wouldn't leave any materials when they were killed.

Yet, wouldn't the weapons of the JJk be more unique, as they had various unique effects?

Suzuki wanted to say that, but compared to the might of the problems and beings in the Solo Leveling, whose scale of battle was on the size of the universe, he knew well that all of the weapons in the Zenin Clan were useless in the world of Solo Leveling.

Then, what about the fourth Suzuki?

Suzuki wasn't sure about the fourth, since the fourth was currently doing quite well and had focused on the university and getting a good job, so the fourth could live well.

Compared to others, the life of the fourth might seem easy, yet all of them knew that, despite how peaceful the life of the fourth was, the torment was several times higher.

Why did they think so?

It was because while they could beat up their enemy, the fourth's opponent was taxes, the future, unemployment, and all other modern problems.

How could one fight against that?

Fortunately, Suzuki invented a technique that allowed one to get money as easily as turning on a tap, but unfortunately, no one could use it except him. They could share their "knowledge," but neither could share their ability, and since his money technique came from "Projection Sorcery," no one could do what he did, making money so easily that it seemed he printed it himself.

Yet, somehow, when he thought of the origin of the fourth, Suzuki knew that, probably, the fourth had the highest potential of all.

"W-Wow..."

Yet, Maki couldn't even say proper words as she looked at the collection of the Cursed Weapons. As mentioned before, her position was nothing but goons, and when she decided to go to Tokyo, the family treated her so harshly that all the weapons she had ever received were just cheap and weak. This was also due to this; her hands were covered in calluses and scarred.

It might be possible for her to ask Suzuki, but she didn't want to trouble him too much, as she had been relying on him all the time.

'This time... it's different...'

"Aren't you going to take some of the weapons?"

"...is that okay?"

The Heavenly Restriction was powerful, but even so, to utilise it further, Maki needed a better weapon.

Could she even wield the weapons in the armory?

After all, those weapons weren't cheap, right?

Was it okay for her to give them like that?

"Go ahead." Suzuki nodded. "Just pick whatever you want. At worst, I will make or buy more."

"T-Thank you..."

Maki didn't know what to say except for thanking him, as she was an awkward type, yet even so, deep inside, she had made up her mind to crush any of his enemies, as long as Suzuki asked her, too.

Yet, while Maki was excited, thinking about which weapons to get, Suzuki was a bit disappointed because the weapons weren't as strong as he thought they would be.

[Item:] Edo-Period Cursed Katana.

[Composition:] Folded Tamahagane Steel.

[Flaws:] Micro-fractures detected along the edge. Metal fatigue is severe.

[CE Conductivity:] 42% (Inefficient).

[Technique:] None. Merely holds sharp, cursed energy.

[System Recommendation:] Tactically obsolete. Action: Liquidation. Please sell it to a French private collector for $4,000,000.

"......"

If it were before, he might really sell all of those weapons in the armory, since, according to the Manager, if he really sold all of the armory, he would get $400,000,000.

Yet, he had developed a unique money-making ability, so he had no need to sell those weapons. It was also such a shame to sell all those collections, especially when their value came from history as well.

Still, when he thought that he couldn't find the Inverted Spear of Heaven, he looked at the corner and saw a chipped piece of a broken item.

"What is that?" Maki asked curiously.

"It's a prototype of a certain weapon that can kill a god."

"Huh? Really?"

As Maki was about to ask Suzuki further, Ranta Zenin, who had become better, ran after Suzuki and shouted, "Clan Head! Please prepare for war! We will start to kill the Elders now!"

"...."

"...what?"
