Chapter 77 - Against the God 3

"....."

Fwoosh...

"Eh?"

The destruction didn't happen.

Everything was quiet.

The nuclear-bomb-like technique that had suddenly emerged and was about to turn the Zenin Estate into a ruin vanished, as if Gojo had never cast it in the first place.

While everyone was at a loss in the bizarre situation, Gojo's eyes frantically analyzed everything that had happened until—

"That's it. I will evict your family from your land after this."

"You..." Gojo looked at Suzuki with amazement. "You edit reality? Like an editor? Wow~!"

"...you really don't care that I evict you from your home?"

"Take it! Take it! Take my home or my wealth. It doesn't matter to me."

Waving his hand, Gojo truly didn't care even if his family was evicted.

"Okay, then." Suzuki nodded and didn't even have a shred of guilt for evicting Gojo's entire family from their family home. "After this, I will have you sign the deed transfer for your lands."

"....."

Gojo was speechless. "...you really care about money that much?"

"I think that you are just too stupid to realize how important money is."

"Isn't that natural?" Gojo nodded. "I am the strongest, after all."

"Yes, yes." Suzuki didn't even care whether Gojo was the strongest. "The strongest will be homeless soon."

"....." Gojo.

Yet, Suzuki had to admit that the toll that came from his previous Domain Expansion was heavier than he had imagined.

The Director's Cut.

This was his Domain Expansion, where he truly used his ability to control cause and result itself.

So, what did it do?

In his view, the world turned into a "film strip," where he could see the next few frames, as everything was just a script within his domain.

So, what would happen?

By then, he could edit anything, so when Gojo unleashed the Purple, he could physically cut a strip of the frame that Gojo unleashed the Purple out of the sequence.

It was the ultimate reality-manipulation technique, with him as the editor.

If his opponent sent a long-range attack or cast a simple Domain in Frames 5 to 10, Suzuki could cut those frames, and the reality would splice Frame 4 directly to Frame 11.

By then, what would happen?

The "casting" never happened, but time passed. The opponent was disoriented, their energy was spent, but their attack or defense failed to deploy because the process was deleted.

This was also the reason he chose the Physics Department as his focus: by learning Theoretical Physics (Quantum Mechanics), he came to understand the Observer Theory, which asks, "If I am not observed in this frame, do I exist?"

By using that theory, he erased realities he didn't like, such as the destruction of his yard by Gojo's Purple.

Naturally, while this ability was powerful, it had limits: it was an editing ability, so it could only do so much, yet it still had significant potential.

Yet this was also why Gojo was amazed, as he had never expected that being a nerd could make Suzuki so powerful.

"You don't understand the feeling of the bottom, Gojo Satoru."

Suzuki looked at Gojo calmly as he declared, "When I learn enough, I will pull you down from your throne."

"...."

Gojo was momentarily unable to process anything, but then he laughed. "Hahahahaha...."

He laughed so hard that he felt he might die from laughing.

"Go ahead~! Let me see whether you can do it, Suzuki-kun~! But before that, you haven't tasted my Domain Expansion, so try your best, okay? Since I will show you everything, too~!"

Suzuki didn't say anything as he pushed the frame of his glasses.

'Domain Expansion...'

As he was familiar with the story of JJK, he naturally knew about Gojo's Domain Expansion, and he had to admit that it was the one in which he was truly helpless.

His technique is built based on the concept of discontinuity—how to make his movement exist at Point A and Point B without existing at the points between.

His technique was built for Counter-Zenin, where the rest of the clan was obsessed with "Continuous Motion" (speed); he mastered the "Discontinuous Motion" (teleportation/skipping), effectively recreating the most terrifying Stand ability in anime history.

Yet, Gojo's Domain Expansion?

How could one deal with an Infinity?

Unlimited Void.

This was Gojo's Domain Expansion, and when he opened it, his domain would flood his brain with infinite information, frying his mind.

"...do you have to do this?"

"Oh-ho? Do you know about my Domain Expansion? Well, it is normal, after all, since I often told it to anyone."

"It's too strong, after all. Even if they know, they don't know what to do."

"Hahaha." Gojo laughed and didn't deny Suzuki's words.

Unlimited Void was strong; it was the strongest technique of all, as it attacked the brain directly, the most vulnerable part of the human body.

More importantly, while the other organs might also be vulnerable, at least when those organs were hurt, it would lead the people to death, which was peaceful and liberated them from their reality, yet the brain?

If one were hit and became stupid, and living worse than death, what would happen?

Originally, Sukuna was able to defend against the Unlimited Void. Still, he did so by using Mahoraga, which could practically adapt to anything, and, more importantly, by having Megumi take the brunt of the information overload within the domain.

Yet, even so, Sukuna had brain damage despite all of the attempts.

Suzuki didn't want to have brain damage, since having a peak condition of his body was necessary.

So, what would he do?

The only way he could think of was to use his Domain Expansion to clip his own brain.

The Unlimited Voice forced him to perceive everything, and by using his Deleted Frame, he would intentionally "skip" the frames where his brain processed the information.

Suzuki turned his consciousness into a strobe light—on, off, on, off.

Once he was able to do that, he reduced the "infinite info" to 50% because he was technically "brain dead" for half the duration of the domain.

While this wouldn't save him, it would keep him conscious for 0.2 seconds longer than anyone else—just enough time to activate a Simple Domain or beg for mercy.

"Now, are you ready?"

Gojo smiled as his fingers moved into the gesture as he said, "Unlimited Void."

At that moment, an endless void resembling outer space, with a large black hole, distant galaxies, and numerous white patches, emerged into reality.

There was no way to defend. It was unlimited, after all. Even if one could defend for a moment, it was impossible to do so forever.

"You bastard!"

As Suzuki cursed Gojo's DDoS attack, the Manager, who had been silent, suddenly worked and quickly threw away all the information that had entered his brain.

[It's detected that an infinite data stream floods the user's brain. The Manager will automatically process the defense system for the user.]

'Huh?'

Suzuki didn't do anything, but the manager, who had been silent, suddenly worked and quickly threw away all the information that had forcefully entered his head, filed it in a background folder, and processed it instantly.

[Notice: Infinite data stream detected and archived.]

"....."

'Nothing happened?'

[Nothing will happen to the user.]

"....."

"Hmm..."

Unlimited Void, or the Ultimate DDoS Attack.

It might seem strange for him to compare Gojo's strongest technique to a DDoS Attack. Still, it was the truth, since it worked similarly: the DDoS was a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, service, or network by overwhelming it with a flood of internet traffic from multiple compromised systems (a botnet). The Unlimited Void worked similarly by forcing infinite information into the target's brain.

Yet, the Manager was like a supercomputer, or beyond, it made him completely unaffected, and made him look at Gojo like he had just handed him a spam email.

Still, while Suzuki was fine, everyone was at a loss.

The energy that exuded from Gojo was just frightening, as if the entire galaxy weighed them down, yet it wasn't they who were stunned; it was Gojo himself who was stunned, for from his eyes he could see something unbelievable.

"Stop sending me spam emails."

"....." Gojo.

Suzuki suddenly appeared in front of Gojo and raised his fist, and Gojo quickly put up a defense and tried to block him, but Suzuki had already moved away and returned to his living room.

"Come here. Sign your transfer land deeds, or I might really mess up everyone."

"...."

Gojo couldn't say anything properly, as he said, "...did we just end up in a draw?"

Yes, at that moment, the one and only one under the heaven was humbled.
