"Finn... is that you?"
While the rest of the battlefield was completely paralyzed by the sudden, suffocating pressure sweeping over the world, Sirzechs Lucifer managed to find his voice. Even as one of the strongest beings in existence, the Crimson Satan felt an instinctive, heavy weight pressing against his chest. He stared at the figure who had just violently shattered the spatial void, his blue-green eyes wide with absolute disbelief.
"Is that really you, Finn-kun?"
The young Devil's core features were recognizable, yet his entire state of being had undergone a metamorphosis so colossal it stunned everyone into absolute silence.
"HOW?!"
The hysterical scream didn't come from Azazel, but from Katarea Leviathan. After witnessing Creuserey's horrific execution, the fake Leviathan had essentially given up. She knew that even with Ophis's infinite energy running through her veins, she couldn't defeat Serafall or Sirzechs, let alone the invisible monster hunting the Khaos Brigade. She had quietly surrendered on the sidelines, hoping to avoid Finn's wrath.
But seeing his transformation completely shattered her fragile composure.
"HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY HAVE TWELVE WINGS?!" Katarea shrieked, pointing a trembling finger.
It wasn't just Akeno who had breached the absolute apex of biology. From Finn's back sprouted twelve magnificent, pitch-black wings. But unlike the standard leathery, bat-like wings of a normal Devil, his were composed of overlapping, razor-sharp raven feathers that seemed to absorb the very light around them.
"...Is that seriously what you're focusing on?" Azazel muttered, looking at Katarea with utter speechlessness. "Shouldn't you be a little more concerned with his entire physical change?"
Azazel was completely astounded. Everything about Finn felt as though he had bypassed standard evolution and violently reverted to a terrifying, ancient origin. It was as if he had become the primordial progenitor—the absolute seed of demonic existence.
According to the ancient texts of the Ars Goetia, the 51st Spirit, Balam, was a terrifying King of Hell. He was depicted as having three heads (a bull, a man, and a ram), flaming eyes, a serpent's tail, riding a furious bear, and carrying a goshawk.
Finn's newly ascended form was a flawless, breathtakingly refined manifestation of that very mythology. He wasn't some grotesque monster; he was a dark, aristocratic god.
Instead of three literal heads, his singular human face had been refined to absolute, aristocratic perfection, symbolizing the 'Man' and reflecting Balam's mythological power to grant wit and intellect. The 'Bull' and 'Ram' aspects manifested as a magnificent, asymmetrical crown of demonic horns resting upon his head. On the left, a dark, heavily ridged spiral horn curled like a majestic ram; on the right, a smooth, lethally sharp obsidian horn curved forward like a bull.
More terrifyingly, his eyes didn't just glow—they actively burned. His irises had shifted to a piercing, incandescent amber-gold. When he simply glanced across the battlefield, ethereal golden flames bled from the corners of his eyes, leaving a faint, smoking trail of light in the air whenever he moved his head.
From his lower back swayed an ethereal, sleek tail composed entirely of highly compressed, dark-purple Demonic Power. It moved with a fluid, predatory grace, perfectly fulfilling the legend of the 'Serpent's Tail'.
He wasn't riding a beast, but draped over his left shoulder was a luxurious, heavy mantle woven from the pitch-black fur of a mythological Demonic Bear. Underneath the pelt, he wore a tailored, high-collared aristocratic military uniform befitting a Great King who commanded forty legions. The dark fabric was heavily adorned with subtle, intertwining silver embroidery depicting serpents and horns.
Finally, perched calmly upon his dark, armored gauntlet was a spectral, demonic goshawk composed of pure shadow, its piercing eyes scanning the battlefield.
For a brief microsecond, Finn's right eye flashed a brilliant, mechanical gold, processing millions of calculations before settling back into its burning amber state.
"What do you know?!" Katarea hissed at Azazel, unable to tear her eyes away from the raven wings. "The only Devil in history possessing twelve wings is Lucifer himself! How could a descendant of the Balam House achieve this?!"
Katarea was absolutely captivated. The twelve wings were the ultimate symbol of the absolute peak of Devil biology. As a descendant of the Old Satans, she had dreamt of achieving that power her entire life. Yet, here was a cruel, lazy young Devil who had effortlessly seized it through his own ruthless methods.
Her terror rapidly morphed into a dark, desperate lust. The Khaos Brigade was finished. Her allies were dead. Why shouldn't she just switch sides? If she stripped naked and threw herself into his bed, surely she could tame him with her body!
"Hey! He is mine, okay?"
Serafall violently pressed her face directly into Katarea's personal space, her pink magical girl staff dangerously sparking with ice magic.
"..."
Katarea was utterly speechless. She simply snorted and looked away. Did this bubbly, childish fake Leviathan honestly believe she had the mature, womanly charm to satisfy a True Satan?
"Um... excuse me. Finn-sama is actually my official fiancé, okay?"
Ravel Phenex politely raised her hand from the sidelines, her golden eyes narrowing as she firmly staked her absolute claim over the new Demon King.
"..."
The bickering instantly died down as Finn took a single step forward.
His aura was so intensely oppressive it felt as though the entire world had been plunged deep underwater. The ambient light in the courtyard was violently devoured by his presence, plunging Kuoh Academy into an artificial solar eclipse. The heavy, dark energy caused the Angels in the sky to physically weaken and drop lower, while the Devils on the ground suddenly felt an intoxicating, explosive surge in their own Demonic Power.
"Finn-sama!"
Akeno, Xenovia, Asia, Ravel, and Kuroka felt an overwhelming wave of euphoric relief and absolute adoration. They didn't fear the crushing gravity of his aura; they basked in it. Finn had successfully evolved beyond the limitations of a standard Devil. He had transcended.
"Seriously... how on earth did he do this?" Azazel muttered, dragging a hand down his face. Trying to understand the biology of the True Satan was utterly meaningless. Azazel just knew one absolute truth: Finn had instantly bridged the gap, becoming just as powerful—if not slightly more so—than Sirzechs Lucifer. Merely standing within a mile of him made lesser beings feel like their internal organs were being crushed by oceanic pressure.
But out of everyone on the battlefield, Cao Cao was the most paralyzed.
Finn's burning amber eyes locked directly onto the leader of the Hero Faction.
"Goodbye."
Finn didn't waste time on arrogant monologues. He didn't gloat. Cao Cao had plotted to assassinate him, so Cao Cao had to die. It was the absolute, unyielding law of the Balam House: an eye for an eye.
Cao Cao understood his grim reality. For the very first time in his life, the True Longinus felt utterly useless. The suffocating, dark presence of the True Satan closed off every possible path of escape. The pressure was so absolute that simply dropping to his knees and surrendering his life felt like the only logical option.
Yet, against all odds, a miracle was forcefully triggered. The dormant Will inside the True Longinus remained entirely calm, fully aware that the wielder of the spear was not fated to die tonight.
Rumble!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!
The dark, eclipsed sky violently shattered. A cataclysmic, blinding bolt of divine lightning struck the earth directly between Finn and Cao Cao, obliterating the concrete and sending a shockwave that nearly knocked the surrounding Devils off their feet.
From the heart of the roaring thunder, an ancient, booming voice echoed across the world.
"Finn Balam. Give me some face, and let Cao Cao walk away."
The heavy scent of ozone and divine rain flooded the battlefield. Stepping out of the lightning was the absolute King of the Gods, the Deity of Weather, Storms, and War in Hindu Mythology.
Lord Indra had arrived.

By the way, after this, it will be the world of Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. But, it will just for ten chapters or so before he moves to Fairy Tail.
Look foward to it!
