Chapter 322 - Returning to the Usual

"You two... go in first."

Finn stepped aside, letting the sliding wooden doors open wider. He knew there were a hundred different ways he should respond to Serafall's blatantly lewd Shimaidon invitation, but for now, he simply gestured for the Sitri sisters to enter his home.

As they walked past him, Sona's heart hammered so violently against her ribs she felt like she was going to faint.

Unlike Serafall, who looked entirely ready to tackle Finn to the floor, aggressively mate with him, and bear a couple of his demonic children right then and there, Sona was still fighting a desperate battle with her own restraint. It wasn't that she didn't want him. She wanted him so fiercely that watching him officially claim Ravel Phenex as his fiancé felt like a physical ache in her chest.

Sona had always thought the two of them were slowly, methodically building something special together. Finn was so incredibly cruel for elevating someone else to the position of his primary fiancé, especially after he had effortlessly twisted Sona into such a deeply frustrated, yearning mess.

As for Serafall? Her thought process was infinitely simpler: she just wanted to get naked and breed with the True Satan as soon as possible.

"..."

Finn could practically feel the blazing, intense gazes of both Sitri sisters burning holes into his skin. He knew exactly what they wanted, but the entire situation felt utterly bizarre. Between the unannounced entrance and Serafall's extremely vulgar introduction, Finn couldn't help but think: shouldn't two high-ranking political figures be here to discuss the massive fallout of the peace treaty and the apocalyptic battle that just happened?

"Sit there first," Finn instructed smoothly, gesturing toward the low table in the living room. "Let me prepare you some tea."

"Thank you," Sona said stiffly.

"Ah! Let me help you with that—!"

Serafall immediately tried to jump up and follow him into the kitchen—undoubtedly looking for an excuse to press her massive chest against his back—but Sona firmly grabbed her older sister's wrist, yanking her back down to the cushions.

As Finn walked away, Sona's piercing violet eyes, framed sharply by her glasses, shot literal daggers at his retreating back. Then, her gaze involuntarily lowered to his sculpted buttocks, and then back up to his broad, muscular shoulders.

Finn was only wearing a pair of loose sweatpants. His chiseled, heavily muscled torso was glistening with a faint sheen of sweat, screaming with a primal, overwhelming manliness that made the air in the room feel incredibly thin. Despite his crude, half-naked getup, Sona couldn't bring herself to scold him or preach about proper household etiquette. After all, it was their own fault for showing up unannounced and throwing out perverted propositions at his front door.

Besides, if she were completely honest with herself, the sight of his bare, perfectly sculpted back was absolute, top-tier eye candy.

"I really should have brought Tsubaki with me," Sona muttered quietly, adjusting her glasses to hide her blush.

"Why?" Finn asked from the kitchen, genuinely confused.

For a brief, dangerous second, Finn's mind wandered. Would Sona make Tsubaki strip naked and offer herself up on a silver platter, too? When he pictured the beautiful, glasses-wearing Vice President—a girl whose stoic demeanor perfectly masked her secret obsession with spicy BL manga—completely breaking down and moaning under him while he marked her, Finn had to admit he had practically devolved into a complete pervert.

Before his evolution, his sole, obsessive focus had been survival and acquiring absolute power. But now that he had violently ascended to become one of the strongest beings in existence... what came next?

Should he aim even higher? If he could, he absolutely would. The stronger he became, the easier it would be to secure his absolute peace. Plus, knowing his alternate self—the Suzuki navigating the dangerous Tensura universe—was likely facing cosmic threats and universe-creators, Finn felt a strange sense of solidarity to keep pushing his own limits.

But for now, in the DxD universe, he was virtually unkillable.

"If I had brought Tsubaki with me," Sona explained, her voice pulling Finn from his thoughts, "I could have asked her to prepare the tea and handle the menial tasks. It is highly inappropriate for someone of your current status to be serving us."

Sona knew exactly how drastically the political landscape had shifted overnight. Finn's status had skyrocketed past the point of being a mere High-Class Devil. He was an absolute anomaly. He had become the terrifying, undisputed Third Force of the Underworld.

Historically, the Underworld was violently divided into two primary political factions. On one side stood the Four Great Satans Faction, led by Sirzechs and Serafall, who pushed for progressive reform and modernization. On the other side stood the Great King Faction, led by the ancient Zekram Bael and the conservatives, who fiercely resisted radical change for fear of destabilizing their ancient society.

The two factions were locked in a perpetual, icy cold war.

But now? Finn had evolved into a higher entity capable of standing toe-to-toe with Lord Indra, the King of the Hindu Gods. The entire supernatural world had felt the suffocating gravity of his aura. He was a sleeping calamity that no one dared to wake.

Rumors of his ascension were already violently fermenting across the pantheons. The image of Finn standing in the bleeding courtyard, crowned in demonic horns and unfurling twelve raven wings, had firmly cemented him in their minds as the literal embodiment of the mythic True Satan.

That overwhelming shift in power was exactly why Sona didn't know how to act around him anymore.

Before he became a living god, they used to spend lazy afternoons in the student council room. They would play chess, and she would secretly, thrillingly allow him to steal lingering peeks at her pantyhose-clad legs. She would cross her legs under the short Kuoh Academy skirt, intentionally exposing just a sliver of her panties to distract him with pure lust. It was a dirty, incredibly lewd game that added a breathless rush to her otherwise strict, rigid life.

She never thought she would miss something so thoroughly perverted.

Am I really such a lewd woman? Sona thought, her heart aching. She deeply, painfully regretted not making a decisive move before he evolved. Now, he had officially chosen his primary women, and he had ascended to a throne she couldn't even comprehend. Trying to speak to him now using strict, rigid political formality hurt her chest. Because despite his terrifying new race and apocalyptic power, the man calmly brewing tea in the kitchen felt exactly the same.

"Sona," Finn called out smoothly, walking back into the living room with a tray of steaming tea.

"Yes?" Sona replied, straightening her posture defensively.

Finn set the teacups down, his burning amber eyes locking onto her violet ones. "Don't worry. I am still exactly the same guy. So just treat me like you did before."

Finn knew it was a massive, incredibly heavy request. He had just orchestrated the slaughter of ten thousand souls to fuel his ascension. He was fully aware that Sona might legitimately fear him now.

Yet... hearing his calm, familiar voice, Sona stared at him in utter silence for a long, heavy moment.

Slowly, the rigid tension completely melted from her shoulders. Her expression softened. As she sat in the traditional, highly respectful seiza position, she reached down to the hem of her skirt.

With deliberate, agonizing slowness, Sona shifted her posture, intentionally pulling the fabric of her skirt up several inches. The movement completely exposed a massive, generous expanse of her incredibly smooth, pale, and thoroughly flawless thighs.

She looked up at him, her glasses catching the morning light, a faint, deeply teasing smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.

"Okay. As usual, then... exactly as you requested."

"....."

Finn froze, the teapot hovering in his hand. It was true that he had practically made a sport out of peeking at her legs, but having her aggressively flash him right at the tea table?

Finn let out a long, helpless sigh, accepting his utter defeat. When it came to Sona Sitri's slender, flawless legs, he absolutely could not win.
