Chapter 99 - Chapter 94: The Most Evil Curse User and the Worldwide Transfiguration

"NORITOSHI KAMO!!!"

It was a roar that seemed to tear from his very blood and heart.

Choso stared intently at the man with the stitched forehead. The pieces had finally fallen into place.

During the previous fight, Choso had felt the resonance of his bloodline from Yuji Itadori. He realized Yuji was his brother.

But how could that be? Choso was created 150 years ago by the most evil Curse User in history. Yuji was a modern teenager.

Unless... the man who created them was still alive, jumping from body to body.

"Ah," Kenjaku smiled, looking at Choso. "So you figured it out."

Seeing the blood arrow that far surpassed a normal Sorcerer's power, Utahime and the Kyoto students were utterly shocked.

But before they could capitalize on the distraction—

"Anti-Gravity System."

BOOM!!!

The ground collapsed instantly! Spiderweb-like cracks spread everywhere.

Before the Sorcerers could even react, an invisible, crushing weight slammed down on everyone within a ten-meter radius. Choso, Kusakabe, Yuji, and even Maki (who could not be perceived by Cursed Energy tracking) fell face down, pinned to the asphalt.

They were being suppressed by a force far exceeding normal gravity. Kenjaku had reversed his Anti-Gravity technique to create an overwhelming gravitational field.

Aside from Noritoshi Kamo (the student) in the distance, Utahime, and Momo flying at a low altitude, the Jujutsu High camp had just lost more than half of its combat power in a single second.

Mirai floated just outside the range of gravity, completely unaffected.

"Noritoshi Kamo was just one of my many identities," Kenjaku said, standing comfortably in the center of the prostrate Sorcerers. He looked down at Choso.

"You are just a failure."

"What, are you in such a hurry to claim your father?"

The malicious mockery enraged Choso to the extreme!

Over 150 years ago, Kenjaku had possessed the body of Noritoshi Kamo, leaving behind the biggest stain on the Kamo family's history.

He experimented on Sorcerers. He experimented on infants.

By stitching humans together with Cursed Spirits, he created hybrids. He found a human woman with a special constitution that allowed her to conceive Cursed Spirits. He forced her into nine pregnancies and nine abortions.

The Nine Cursed Womb: Death Paintings were born from this cruelty. They were experimental products.

This was why the name 'Noritoshi Kamo' was synonymous with absolute evil.

"Eso and Kechizu have already been killed by Yuji and Nobara," Kenjaku muttered casually. "The remaining six... well, they are in Mirai's hands now."

...

"Old friend, isn't that enough talking?" Kenjaku looked up at the sky.

"I can't concentrate on my casting because I'm constantly being bothered by these bugs."

Mirai glanced downwards. There was no verbal response.

BOOM!!!

A vast void opened up in the sky beside Mirai!

Massive, blood-red roots—several meters thick, resembling surging blood vessels from another dimension—erupted from the Kamui void!

With an overwhelming and terrifying aura, the roots rushed straight toward the pinned students and staff!

The relentless attack was terrifying enough to wipe out a dozen Grade 1 Sorcerers instantly.

Aoi Todo frowned deeply. The area of effect was massive. Even if he used Boogie Woogie, he could only save one person at most! He couldn't swap everyone out of the kill zone in time!

BOOM!!!

The surging wave of wooden roots was suddenly and violently smashed aside!

A bizarre, skeletal Shikigami resembling an armored eel—Garuda—crashed into the roots, shattering them into splinters.

Everyone survived.

A woman walked casually onto the battlefield. Her long, blonde hair flew in the wind, and her sleeveless black T-shirt accentuated her athletic figure. Garuda wrapped itself around her shoulders like a scarf.

"What type of woman do you like?" she asked with a grin.

It was the Special Grade Sorcerer, Yuki Tsukumo.

Of the four Special Grade Sorcerers recognized by Jujutsu High, she was the only woman, and by far the most mysterious.

Kenjaku looked at the newcomer and inexplicably laughed out loud. "Yuki Tsukumo."

Thanks to Suguru Geto's original memories, Kenjaku knew her well. If it weren't for a specific conversation she had with Geto eleven years ago, it wouldn't have been so easy for Kenjaku to eventually take over Geto's body.

...

Eleven years ago, Yuki Tsukumo had discussed the root of the Cursed Spirit problem with a young Suguru Geto.

How can we make all the Cursed Spirits in the world disappear?

Geto, Yuki, and Kenjaku all had completely different ideas.

Geto's method was brutal: Kill all ordinary humans who leak Cursed Energy.

Yuki's idea was impractical but peaceful: Free mankind from Curses by teaching them to control their leaks, or by turning all humans into beings with zero Cursed Energy, like Toji Fushiguro.

Kenjaku's solution was the optimization of Cursed Energy.

He didn't want to eliminate Curses; he wanted to force human evolution to its absolute limit! He wanted to create chaos to see what humanity could become.

"Hi, Suguru," Yuki smiled, standing before the exhausted students. "Long time no see. It seems your thoughts haven't changed much."

She placed a hand on her hip, looking at the man with the stitched forehead.

"You imposter."

Kenjaku merely smiled. Was the real Geto completely gone? Or was there a hidden remnant of his soul still fighting back? When Gojo Satoru was sealed, Geto's arm had briefly rebelled.

"Don't waste my time," Mirai's cold voice echoed from above, interrupting the reunion. "Hurry up."

Kenjaku nodded. Whether Geto's soul remained or not didn't matter anymore. It was all just a matter of time.

A blood-red rose—the extracted essence of Mahito's technique—bloomed in Kenjaku's palm.

"Idle Transfiguration!"

Kenjaku bent down and clapped his hands together, slamming them onto the ground!

He unleashed a burst of intense, optimized Cursed Energy from his palms, amplifying the technique through Tengen's nationwide barriers.

At that moment, the world changed color!

Extreme black and white flashed brightly in the sky. Strange, massive fluctuations of Cursed Energy spread rapidly, echoing throughout the entire territory of Japan!

He wasn't transfiguring the people in front of him. He was remotely activating the technique on thousands of non-Sorcerers across the country whose brains he had pre-marked months ago.

He was giving them Cursed Techniques. He was making them Sorcerers.

Floating high above, the long-awaited moment had arrived. Even with his usually indifferent expression, Mirai revealed a slight, genuine smile.

The Golden Age of Sorcery... had returned!
