Cole looked at the physical appearance of the Codex with wide eyes.
Previously, it already looked mystical and special enough, but right now it doesn't appear like something that belongs to the world at all.
The runes all over it were pulsating slightly, releasing faint light. Every pulsation releasing an aura of dominance.
Then Cole checked inside it; it was looking for the changes in the pages, but he was quickly disappointed.
Nothing really changed inside the Codex except the full reformation of the combusted page.
