Rohit frowned. He remembered Ragini's brief conversation with the doctor. But what could that man possibly want when Rohit still held leverage over him?

He crossed his fingers and leaned forward on the desk.
A video appeared on the screen.
Ragini was visible in the frame, answering the doctor's questions. The phone camera seemed to have been discreetly placed, as if recording her statement without her knowledge. She looked tense.
He fast-forwarded to grasp the context.
The more he watched, the deeper his frown grew.
The doctor wasn't asking anything particularly unusual, nor was his method of persuasion different from what Rohit had originally instructed. He seemed to be trying to convince Ragini to speed up the treatment process.
