In Tanuj's whole group, Roxana was the only one who didn't truly belong to his gang, even though she was from the same batch.
She knew perfectly well why she'd been invited: her looks made Indian guys lose their minds at just one glimpse.
At first she hadn't wanted to come. She already had plans with Harsha, her junior, for a late night out. But Jayesh, who she knew through his brother's connection, kept calling and texting, insisting she'd have a great time. Eventually she gave in.
So far, though, it had been boring. Her brother Victor turned out to be a jerk and disappeared almost immediately with his girlfriend Tanya, leaving her alone. Jayesh himself hadn't shown up at all.
Still, it wasn't completely terrible. Tanuj's friends were keeping her company, exactly the way she liked. Then she heard the commotion and looked over.
