Rohit dropped his blazer on sofa and took sheela's hand to the dance floor.
The reason Sheela agreed had nothing to do with affection.
Deep down, she still saw him as that same pathetic bug from school... someone she could crush under her heel whenever she wanted.
That arrogance had lowered her guard. She found it amusing, even entertaining, to let him think he stood a chance.
That was why, unlike Arya, she allowed Rohit to take the lead and guide her toward the dance floor. In truth, she had always liked men who could take charge confidently.
And surprisingly…
Rohit was doing exactly that tonight.
As they walked through the flashing lights, Rohit glanced sideways at her with a faint smirk.
"Don't you think your boyfriend's being a little too relaxed?" he asked casually. "Letting you walk off with another man like this."
Sheela rolled her eyes, a condescending smile tugging at her lips.
