Rohit stiffened the moment Aisha spoke from behind him.
Almost instinctively, he slammed the laptop shut. But a second later, he caught himself and slowly reopened it, leaning back in the chair.
"Oh… it's just you," he said, exhaling. "Damn, Aisha. Don't sneak up on me like that."
Aisha looked visibly offended.
"Hey! I want to see that," she pouted, sliding onto his lap without invitation. "Replay it."
She reached for the mouse, but the screen was locked. Her frown deepened.
"What's the password?"
Rohit smirked, already sensing her agitation. Before she could keep trying, he pinched her waist firmly.
Aisha yelped and squirmed.
"First," he said lazily, "don't touch my things without permission."
His expression turned sharper as he grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him.
"And second… what the hell were you doing sleeping in my bed while I was gone?"
Aisha rolled her eyes, completely unfazed by his cold tone.
"Can't you be sweet for once?" she muttered.
