Rohit sat quietly in the car, watching the morning traffic blur past the window.
Beside him, Tanya occupied the middle seat. Surprisingly, she wasn't causing trouble. Instead, she was scrolling through the flood of photos her brother had uploaded from the Jaipur trip.
Aisha, sitting on the other side, had one earbud in while casually browsing through social media. Every now and then, though, she'd glance sideways at Rohit and Tanya seated uncomfortably close to each other.
Suddenly, Tanya clicked her tongue.
"Ugh... this fucking bitch."
The latest photo showed Sheela laughing atop a camel during the evening desert safari, surrounded by the rest of the group.
"I swear, I hope my brother dumps her one day. No way I'm ever supporting their relationship."
Aisha barely looked up.
"Fat chance."
She opened Sheela's Facebook profile and turned the phone toward Tanya.
"She just announced she's been selected as a finalist for Femina Miss India Delhi."
Tanya blinked.
"...What?"
