One day before the wedding that we're invited to, we are now gathering ourselves in the house of Simon waiting for others.
"Where will the wedding be again, Jude?" Asked Simon as he crossed his arms. Before Jude even answered Simon, he took out his phone, pressed it multiple times then showed the invitation to Simon. "Oh, right! At the city across the sea! Yes! So where is Andrew, Thomas and Matthew?!" Simon asked angrily. It's a go— oh, right. He can still read minds even when He's not here in the living room. "Simon, you being angry won't make them teleport here," said Abigail as soon as she came near Simon.
Simon sighed deeply then held Abigail's hand. "I just got excited about the wedding, Love. Also, the city across the sea has a much longer travel time than the city beyond the mountains," said Simon as he kisses Abigail's hand that he's holding.
Then suddenly, Andrew, Matthew and Thomas finally showed up and they saw Simon kissing Abigail's hand. "Alright, brother, Abigail has already calmed you down. No need to be angry," said Andrew as he put down his bag and walked towards the kitchen where Abigail's mother is. Simon followed Andrew with his glare but Abigail stopped him by holding his cheek and making him look at her.
"Oh, wow. So that's how she calms the intense Simon," said Tabitha who is sitting beside me on the couch. "Oh, he's just showing off that he has a wife with that attitude of his," said John, who is also sitting by my side on the couch. "Ignore this teenager, Tabitha," I said to her with a forced smile while looking at her. She just nodded silently then looked at Simon and Abigail.
"Is everyone here?" Asked Yeshua as soon as he came out from the kitchen while holding… six tupperwares? And Andrew followed behind Yeshua with… five tupperwares as well? "I packed you all food for the road. Be sure to eat it in time," said Abigail's mother as she came out of the kitchen as well. "Thank you so much, Mother," thanked Simon as he walked towards Abigail's mother and gave her a hug.
Abigail's mother tapped Simon's back a few times before Simon let her go from the hug. "Now, now. You all better get on the road if you all want to have plenty of time to rest and get ready and arrive at the wedding on time." Said Abigail's mother to us. We thanked her and bid goodbye to both Abigail and her mother.
Thomas then began to drive his van and we're now on our way to the port. "Who among you also has a driver's license?" Asked Thomas suddenly. We all looked at each other and stayed silent. "M-me," said Matthew sitting on the back. "Can you drive, Matthew?" Asked Thomas again. "I-I think so," answered Matthew. I looked at Tabitha between me and the window and when she looked at me, I slowly shook my head.
"You're going to drive the van when I get tired, alright, Matthew?" Said Thomas as he kept on driving. "O-okay," the only word Matthew replied.
We are now boarding the roro ship and they are now checking our boarding tickets before letting us on. "We can walk around the ship, right?" Asked Andrew as Thomas is now parking his van. "Yeah, we can," answered James. "Oh, thank goodness!" Said Andrew in relief. Thomas now turned off the engine of the van and we all got out of it. "Where shall we stay then?" Asked John as he looked around. "When Dad booked our tickets, he also included our rooms. You all can see it in the tickets," answered Matthew as he walked towards Thomas and took the tickets from him. Matthew then gave us the tickets and began to walk around the ship before it sailed.
