Chapter 6 - Looks Like Her

‎"She's everywhere", Haibara muttered. Conan who looks busy with something on his phone didn't look up but frowned, "who?"

‎"That woman." She answered as she pointed at the woman hiding in one of the pillars. The moment Conan looked at her she was alerted but she was not fast enough to hide the fact that she's a red haired woman.

‎Haibara glanced at her direction with her arms crossed, putting pressure on her stares as the woman felt it. The woman sighed and stood up.

‎"Okay...I give up. You win." She said.

‎"And care to explain why a very famous violinist like you acts like a stalker?" Haibara straightforwardly said. Luna flinched, laughed nervously and took her disguise, black glasses with a mask off which didn't work.

‎"It's just...", she sighed and looked at Conan who saw her nervousness around Haibara.

‎...

‎"So...speak now." Haibara glared at her. Luna gulped at how scary the girl is. "It's just...", she said hesitating. "Just what?" Haibara said again while raising a brow. Conan tried to calm her but he got a bump for that.

‎She sighed, "you look like her."

‎Conan and Haibara looked at her. "Like who?" Conan finally asked.

‎"Shiho...", she said. Haibara flinched and Conan immediately gave her a reassuring glance. "But you said you didn't met her before. What makes you say that?" Conan asked.

‎"Yeah...I didn't. Okay...one time before she sent her last message. She sent me a picture, it was a selfie, she was smiling. But I noticed a girl behind her, brown hair, bob cut, and wearing a lab gown. It was blurry to see the clear image of her. When I asked Akemi who it was, she said it was her sister." She explained.

‎"So, when you saw Haibara you thought she was her?" Conan said again.

‎"No...of course I don't. I'd be crazy if I did. First of all, Shiho is much older...obviously. It's just, the way she resembles her not just physically, but the way Akemi described her sister matches Haibara. I just felt a bit curious and you know...warm. I felt Akemi for some reason. Well, unless Shiho got pregnant and bore a child in secret, but I know that won't happen. Not on Akemi's watch." She added while laughing softly as she remembered a certain memory.

‎"Oh..yeah. Feel free to report me. No matter what the excuse is, I still followed you and it's not right. I'm so sorry. That was so rude of me. I shouldn't have done that." She said again, while bowing and apologizing.

‎Haibara sighed and answered, "don't worry, I won't report you. I'm not what you think I am so it's fine. You just looked...desperate...and crazy."

‎Luna chuckled while scratching her head. "Crazy, huh? You sure do sound like her."

‎"So, what did she say?" Haibara seriously said after sipping tea. Luna blinked and asked, "Who? Said what?"

‎Haibara coughed a little, "what did Miyano Akemi tell you about her...you know, sister?" she felt the boy beside her smile and laughed a little so she elbowed him.

‎"Oh...yeah. She said a ton. Just a lot. I could probably write a novel, a series to be exact. She would always mention how awkward her sister is, how smart she is, how cool she looks while focusing on her work. She would also talk about how serious her sister gets. How cute she acts, especially when she's embarrassed. And how kind her heart is. Akemi loves that girl. With her whole heart. There wasn't a time when she wouldn't brag about having an amazing sister. Whenever she shares any little thing about her, she's so happy, so proud. There was no end to it. It never gets old. And those stories that she shared stayed within me. And since I got the news of what happened to her, I at least want to meet her sister. But I have absolutely no clue as to where she's at and what she's doing. I hope she's okay. And I do hope to meet her, just like her sister wanted." She uttered reminiscing about the past with great emotions.

‎"Yeah, I know you will", Haibara muttered. The two people at the table didn't hear her as they were chatting about various topics.

‎After some time, she decided to go home, she gave them a ride. Before she left Haibara sighed, "if you want to, you can swing by sometimes." Luna smiled at her, waved and left.

‎"So...I thought we agreed she's mysterious?", Conan asked. "She still is. But I know that she's my sister's friend. And I know for sure that she meant no harm." She added. Conan shrugged and let it go as he felt that Luna indeed had no intentions on doing bad things. But he still decided to stay alert to watch her moves.
