Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Revenge

Dock didn't give Dytet another chance to talk. His massive palm grabbed Teddy, who was as limp as mud.

"No! Don't! Father! Save me! Save me! I was wrong! I really know I was wrong!" Teddy let out a shrill, pig-slaughtering scream, struggling in vain.

Charlotte Linlin, who had already dealt with Basti, sat leisurely on a half-collapsed wall with her arms crossed, watching the drama. Her cold voice rang out, breaking Dytet's ridiculous pleas for mercy:

"No, you don't know you're wrong. You just know that you're... about to die."

Dock looked at the face in his hand, distorted by fear—a face that once looked down on everyone—and the image of his wife, Urti, being whipped and eventually dying a tragic death surfaced in his mind. The flames of hatred completely consumed his reason.

He didn't use any fancy moves; he simply raised his fist, which was as large as a casserole pot.

The first punch smashed heavily into Teddy's face.

"This punch is for every lash of the whip Urti suffered!"

Click! The bridge of his nose collapsed, and teeth sprayed out mixed with blood. Teddy's screams came to an abrupt halt, leaving only the sound of air leaking from his throat.

The second punch slammed into his chest.

"This punch is for the freedom she lost!"

Pfft! His breastbone shattered, and his internal organs were damaged. Teddy spat out thick blood mixed with organ fragments.

The third punch, the fourth, the fifth... Dock was like an untiring pile driver. Every punch contained endless grief and power, accompanied by accusations of blood and tears.

Teddy's body was like a tattered rag doll in his hands, being crazily ravaged and destroyed.

"Stop! Stop! My son! I beg you, let him go!" Duke Ditet cried out and crawled over, grabbing Dock's leg.

Dock kicked him away and turned his gaze toward him.

It's your turn.

At this moment, Ditet, meeting Dock's eyes, finally seemed to realize what was about to happen to him. He let go of Dock's leg and hurriedly retreated! A foul-smelling liquid flowed out from beneath him.

Charlotte Linlin frowned in disgust. Having a slight obsession with cleanliness, she didn't want to smell anything disgusting and moved further away to stand.

Dock pressed forward step by step. Looking at Ditet, who had nowhere left to retreat, he swung a fist down!

"Stop!"

A figure blocked Dock's path. Though it was a petite figure, it blocked Dock's massive, flesh-covered fist, preventing it from moving an inch further.

The newcomer was Tsuru. Not long ago, she and Zephyr had learned of the two pirates' plan: to capture the King and Prince of Dressrosa in exchange for the treasures and Devil Fruits in the Dressrosa treasury.

Upon receiving the intelligence, she rushed over and saved Prince Riku, who was here.

Tsuru looked at Ditet, who was covered in his own waste behind her, and the pile of mangled flesh that used to be a person, thinking to herself with a calm expression.

Am I too late? No, if the pirates' target is the prince, he should still be alive.

At this moment, Ditet's words from behind confirmed Tsuru's suspicion.

"Marine! Marine! Kill him quickly! Avenge my son! I want to make him wish he were dead!"

Ditet spoke with a distorted expression as he looked at the Marine who had suddenly appeared and easily blocked the attack of the Oni beast.

Watching Tsuru suddenly appear, Charlotte Linlin was somewhat speechless. Why was it that every time Dock wanted to kill Ditet, a Marine would pop out? Did the nobles of this world have some strange ability to summon Marines?

Moreover, the Marine summoned this time was Tsuru! That meant Garp and Sengoku, who always acted in tandem with Tsuru, were likely in this country as well.

"This is getting a bit troublesome~"

Charlotte Linlin sighed as she looked at Tsuru, but she was determined to be a guardian today. No one was going to interfere with Dock's revenge! She stood up and leaped over to the group.

"Ma...rines! Marines again! Why do you, who claim to represent justice, ignore our cries for help! But when I want revenge, you show up every single time to obstruct me!"

Looking at Tsuru in her Marine uniform, Dock remembered the scene at the Sabaody Archipelago where his wife, Urti, had begged the Marines for help, only to be beaten by them. If he hadn't stepped forward to protect her, Urti would have died then.

With old and new grudges combining, and the poison beginning to take effect, Dock fell completely into madness. His chaotic punches rained down on the Marine in front of him like a violent storm.

"It seems I must make you calm down."

Tsuru, catching Dock's attack with one hand, frowned slightly. She intended to use her ability to make the man in front of her calm down.

Tsuru's other hand, which had remained still, emitted a strange white light as she slapped it toward the Oni.

Suddenly, Tsuru's movement paused. A sharp sense of crisis came from above. Without time to look, Tsuru hurriedly leaped backward, moving dozens of meters away from her original spot.

Bang!

A massive jade-white club with purple patterns slammed into the spot where Tsuru had been standing.

"Why are you here!" Tsuru, who was usually as calm as a still pond, now showed a look of shock and questioned loudly.

"Long time no see, Tsuru! The last time we met was when you, Garp, and Sengoku sent me to Mary Geoise," Charlotte Linlin said with a smile, as if she hadn't just attempted a sneak attack.

"Answer me, Charlotte Linlin!" Tsuru looked solemnly at the tall figure not far away.

Even though Charlotte Linlin was wearing sunglasses that covered most of her face, Tsuru recognized her attacker at a glance.

After all, with Charlotte Linlin's unique physique and the very ornate tachi in her hand, it was hard not to remember her after seeing her once.

"Why should I answer you?"

Charlotte Linlin knew why Tsuru was so anxious; she was afraid the Rocks Pirates were here. The Marines feared the pirates—that was the status the Rocks Pirates currently held on the sea.

"But are you sure you want to protect that man behind you? Your mission here couldn't possibly be to protect that old fat pig, could it?"

Charlotte Linlin glanced at Dock beside her. The poison in his body had already taken effect, and his presence was nearly gone. He was only standing now by the sheer will for revenge.

"No, but I am a Marine. Protecting them is my responsibility," Tsuru said firmly.

"I see~"

Charlotte Linlin took off her sunglasses and appeared in front of Tsuru in the next instant.

"But... when this fellow behind me needed the Marines, where were you!" Charlotte Linlin questioned sharply, her nodachi carrying a strong wind as it smashed toward Tsuru.

Tsuru leaped away, and the strong wind from the tachi hitting the ground blew her back several more meters.

"Go. Today, no one can stop a husband's revenge!"

Dock didn't reply, but simply began to walk forward with slow steps.

"Don't even think about it!"

Seeing this, Tsuru hurriedly moved to stop him. She knew that this Duke Ditet seemed to have some connection with the Celestial Dragons and could not die here.

"Hey, don't ignore This old lady!"
