The three lines of text were neatly arranged on Athena's right side.
Against the black ocean, the reddish-brown land itself was not especially eye-catching.
But the goddess named Athena was.
Her eyes were tightly closed.
Her body lay sideways atop the ocean's surface, unmoving.
The Goddess of Wisdom, "Athena," looked as though she were in a deep sleep.
It was unclear when she had fallen asleep, or how long she had remained in this position.
"Did she really just fall asleep because she couldn't wait for my reply?" Hiro shook his head.
He reached out and touched the bed to his right.
There was still a trace of warmth.
Whoever had been there had only just left.
He temporarily set aside the [Heavenly Realm System Version].
The cosmic star map flashed in his right palm.
Athena's body, pristine and unstained, emerged from [Void Star Taisui] and was placed beside him.
The bed sank slightly from the sudden added weight.
Even without him saying anything, Athena seemed to sense the change.
Her eyes opened on their own.
"Do you have something you want to ask me?" Hiro asked calmly.
He looked at her without reservation, his gaze moving from head to toe.
Since Athena herself said this was a welfare, refusing to look would be disrespectful.
Looking away would mean looking down on her as a goddess.
Although Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom and War, she was still a goddess.
Naturally, she hoped others would acknowledge her charm.
By that logic, Hiro's appreciative gaze was simply basic courtesy.
It was also a form of confidence given to her.
Swoosh.
Fortunately, the wait had not been long.
As Hiro spoke, Athena quickly recovered from her drowsiness.
She sat up in a way that ignored normal physics and met his tea-colored eyes directly.
"That place... is it still unable to give birth to life?"
"Give birth to life?" Hiro raised his eyebrows slightly.
His tone turned faintly strange.
I thought she was going to ask something else.
So this is what it was.
"Of course. My current self-well, that place doesn't have that capability yet."
Athena frowned, clearly dissatisfied with his answer.
"Then when will you be able to do it?"
"Who knows?" Hiro shrugged.
He teased the Goddess of Wisdom in front of him.
"Maybe never. Maybe it'll take decades. Hundreds. Thousands of years."
"Tomorrow. Or even the next minute, I might suddenly have that ability."
As the possessor, he himself had no idea what [Void Star Taisui] could ultimately produce.
It was Athena, who had voluntarily sealed herself, who first tried to explore that function.
The result had been a failure.
No self-sustaining life had been created.
But her actions still gave Hiro a direction.
A starting point.
"Let me say this first."
Hiro's tone leveled out.
"When you voluntarily sealed yourself with me, you didn't set any conditions. You didn't ask for a way out."
"If you want to leave now, you'll need a reason that can convince me."
As the only god sealed by me, if you leave, how am I supposed to observe the changes in [Void Star Taisui]?
Athena: How am I supposed to find a reason to convince you?
If you want my body, why don't you just take it directly?
It's not like I can resist.
Or does this man, Nanamiya Hiro, prefer women who take the initiative?
The atmosphere in the bedroom fell silent.
Athena sank into thought.
Hiro, meanwhile, quietly watched a maid figure emerge from Rias's room next door.
She was invisible to the naked eye of ordinary people.
After briefly glancing at him and Athena, she began cleaning the floor, walls, and desk.
Grayfia's double.
The impeccably elegant maid chief had begun her work.
"If I remember correctly, Grayfia's double is directly connected to her five senses."
"That means this scene should be visible to Grayfia as well."
Thinking of the silver-haired maid-who was probably in the kitchen or washroom right now-Hiro felt a faint sense of helplessness.
"Then I have no problem."
After a moment of silence, Athena looked at him and spoke.
But as she did, the Goddess of Wisdom extended her right hand.
It was a clear gesture of asking for something.
"Give me a way to communicate."
A way to communicate?
Hiro paused.
He realized that he really didn't have a good solution for communication across the barrier between [Void Star Taisui] and the outside world.
Phones were obviously impossible.
Any modern communication device was out of the question.
Seeing that he didn't respond immediately, Athena frowned.
"What, not even that?"
"Hm."
Hiro thought for a moment.
"I don't have a method that works like a phone-where you're inside and I'm outside."
"But I do have a different way to communicate. It should work."
"I just don't know if you'll be willing to accept it."
Then again...
We've already kissed.
At this point, it feels unnecessary to dwell on it.
It's one of those things you get used to.
That was what Hiro thought.
"I don't mind."
"Hm. In that case..."
With Athena's consent, Hiro nodded.
He slowly began chanting the incantation of [Youth].
His pupils vanished.
In their place appeared a vast starry night.
"I am the strongest, and I hold all victory."
"If you seek my help, you only need to recite my true name."
After speaking, Hiro leaned down slightly.
Athena watched him with an expression that said, "I see."
"I already understand the method of use."
"You can send me back."
After receiving his [Youth] blessing-allowing her to request communication-Athena's expression barely changed.
She simply nodded.
"And also," she added, "please be sure to try more methods of change."
"I know," Hiro replied.
"I don't need you to tell me that."
He waved his right hand.
Athena was sealed back into [Void Star Taisui].
Following system Note 2, Hiro then placed the [Heavenly Realm System Version] into [Void Star Taisui] as well.
